   Ordered the boneless ribeye and it was perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the twin petite filets and they were also cooked to perfection. Drinks were excellent. We received a gratis dessert (flourless chocolate tort) we were celebrating our anniversary. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Loved everything ,but , have had better desserts ! We had apple pie and cheesecake both below average . Wanted cappuccino, machine was broke . It happens . Charged for the olives in our martinis That’s weird

   I was shocked at how bad my steak came out, especially for the price. It was like they didn't even salt the cut and lacked any of the rich butteriness that I associate with a good steak. It was also the toughest cut of meat I've ever had, and I ordered it rare. Service and ambience was great, but the food was seriously underwhelming. The table bread with herb butter was at least good.

   Just wonderful. Food taste/quality was 95% of my favorite steakhouse and in my hometown--so delighted. The service and management was excellent and environment good.

    Nice ambience and lovely, helpful staff; but I was really disappointed in the $39 cap strip steak that was hard to cut and hard to chew. The flavor was ok; but honestly I regularly get steaks that taste as good and are more tender in other restaurants that charge less than half what this steak cost. Others in my party of 5 spoke well of their meals; but said they thought they were pretty pricey for what they got.

    If you are havng a steak you must have the Red Wine sauce. I eat at alot of Chicago high end restaurants, the bone-in ribeye is one of the best I have had... with a side of sauteed mushroom and onions.

    Excellent service-professional, attentive, polite. Dining room is lovely, lowering the bright lighting would add greatly to the ambiance. Pricey, which is fine for an upscale steakhouse, but the cuisine did not deliver. Asked for steak cooked medium, it was medium-well+. Smashed potatoes were greasy and visually very unappealing-looked full or artificial oil. Salmon dish was cooked well and plate was visually attractive, but the dish was flavorless except for an overabundance of salt on the fish. Crab cake is light on crabmeat and texture. The bread and herbed butter is delicious, as was the mushroom & onion side dish. Portion sizes are ample, we had leftover food. We opted, however, not to take it with us as we had no desire to eat it. Disappointing at this price point.

    The salmon was not served as advertised. I was looking forward to the creamed sweet corn Obrien and wilted spinach as was on the menu and neither was served. Also, my husband ordered meatloaf and received a burger.

    The food, as usual, was excellent. Our only problems stemmed from the staff, which were minor. They removed our bread when we wanted to keep it. I had to ask for a fork at both the salad and main courses, and my wife had to ask for a knife. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

    My steak was good. Lobster bisque a little watery. Potatoes to fat and burnt 😜. Hamburgers good. Fish sandwich good. Wait staff were superb. I think over priced for what you get 😢

    Lives up to its billing as a posh steakhouse. The quality of food is excellent, and the ambiance is chill. The steak and crab cakes were both excellent, and the sides provide more than enough food to share. The prices are not cheap, but the experience is well worth it. Highly recommend for a nice dinner out, especially for special occasions!

    My friend and I met for the weekend between where we both live. We decided to try Hamilton Walkers for dinner. The wait staff was very polite My friend has celiacs and had questions on gluten free options. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. We had the filet mignon and salmon and both were amazing! The gluten free bread is AMAZING with the compound butter!!!

    Service was outstanding from the time we walked in. We asked for a different table than we had reserved and were easily accommodated. Severs were friendly and efficient. Presentation of the main course meals was underwhelming....but the food was very good to a person. I tried the horseradish crusted filet and it was very good. Filet was not as tender as it could have been but the overall experience was good. We all had about the same experience. We will definitely be back.....soon. And we love the radio commercial.....'Just because'......that's exactly why we came.

    Steak was cooked to the right temp just really salty. Same with our BBQ chicken, really salty. The house fries were great! Potato/asparagus soup was a tad bland (ironically, needed salt). Table bread and butter were warm and tasty.

    Ordered restaurant week menu. The cream of chicken soup was watery and tasteless. Very disappointing. Entree Ok. Dessert was a little square of bread pudding. Very disappointing for the reputation of this restaurant. I guess you get what you pay for.

    My wife, & family, have been to Hamilton Walker’s apx 15 times. I would have to say that this was the best dining experience so far. Right off the hop, the martini was excellent, service was exceptional and the food was excellent. Whatever management & staff is doing, they need to keep it up!

    The evening at Hamilton Walkers was terrific. We had reservations at 6:30 pm and arrived early and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Jackson, was exceptional. He m egg motives the menu and knew the details of how each dish was prepared. He made recommendations when asked. Jackson never intruded on our conversations, yet always seemed to know when we were ready to order or needed a refill on our drinks. We stayed over two hours and we were never hurried to leave. The food was delicious (white fish, filets, salmon and meatloaf) and the dessert, apple crunch, was very tasty. I highly recommend Hamilton Walkers.

    Went there last night for a date night and had a wonderful time. The app lamb chops were the best I have had!!! and always, the craft drinks were made perfectly. HW is a must for busy professional couples!!!
