Me and my misus wanted to watch the catters play but no footy on.but the manager was happy to bring our booking forward so we could eat sooner rather than later. Spring rolls, brisket and pork..fukin awesome. We were disappointed there was no courtesy bus though cos we were so full we could hardly walk home to the pinnacle..we made it though. Night.

Chicken breast was ok but chat potatoes old and cold and greens cold The pea and prawn linguini was undercooked. The food arrived very quickly and we think suffered because of that. Our friend said it was much better the last time they came.

Great spot. Great food. Great service. Just a little disappointed that we found out on arrival that there was a live music event on. We had to leave by 8.00pm or pay for the ticketed event. Apart from that, highly recommended.

I had the kangaroo tasting plate and it was delicious, and cooked so well. I also had an espresso martini which was strong and delicious. My partner had the Korean fried chicken and we were both thinking the next day about how good our meals were. The service was good and everything came out quickly especially considering how busy they were. There was a gig next door but the noise was still fine. Thank you!

We had not been here for 5 years and it has improved out of sight. Great menu with some pub favourites but also some delicious unexpected dishes. We had duck spring rolls which were amazing and my risotto was up to the standard of a great Italian restaurant

We had the pork belly and the beef brisket, both served with fresh vegetables. the dessert menu was a bit restricted a alittle pricy but enjoyable. The views from the back veranda are wongerful and on a lovely Autumn eveing you couldnt want for more!

Large open feel inside with carpeted floor & ceiling for max noise reduction..at least 2 fireplaces for super cosy feel and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows looking out to Grampians range and wildlife - superb. Large outside wrap around deck would also be terrific in warmer weather. Hospitality fantastic - super accomodating and meals served promptly with friendly manner and highly efficient.!!Kangaroo taste plate was superb & chilli gnocci and calamari also delicious...highly recommended & hard to fault at very reasonable price. The best place we ate on our 3 night stay in Halls Gap - we will return & wouldnt hesitate to eat here

Meals absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced, our order was done in less than 10 mins I’d just ordered and got drinks and it was brought out to us soon after. Best place for a meal would highly recommend and will be stopping by next time I’m up that way. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Popular venue in Halls Gap. Large indoor area with nice views - also lots of outdoor spots. We sat inside as it was a little on the cool side. Need to book in advance to be sure of a table. Service was prompt. The meals (Beef Brisket and Wagyu Burger were good, but not exceptional - no salad with the burger and chips - chips were laden with salt). Ambience - OK, but more like a canteen than a bistro.
