   This was my third visit. We returned because of the previous experiences, and were not disappointed. Indeed, this was our BEST experience yet. The new menu was absolutely mouthwatering. Each and every bite - from amuse to dessert - was delicious, interesting and beautiful. Which is a good way to think about your visit - you will be sure to taste delicious food, it is sure to push boundaries on what you would expect and the presentation is sure to be eye popping. The service was perfect - attentive and friendly without being intrusive on the meal. Pace of service was also perfect. The setting is relaxed and comfortable The cuisine is truly world class - drawing inspiration from local and foraged products that highlight the best of what's seasonally available, the chef isn't afraid to use all the tools in his box to execute delicious fare. With a restaurant this consistently good, it's tempting to keep the experience private rather than risk having to compete for space in the future - but that would be unfair to everyone, most particularly all those who have clearly worked so hard to make this place special.    Absolutely wonderful meal and experience. Better than many of the finest restaurants we have enjoyed, including those with Michelin Stars. So glad we found this place and can’t wait to return!

   A warm welcome and some of the finest food I’ve had anywhere. The pacing, the flavors and the presentation truly made this an event and not just a meal. This would be an impressive meal in any major city, let alone rural Ontario.

   Haliburton Post offers a welcome dining opportunity in cottage country, in the winter, when many venues are closed for the season. Their creative menu and uncompromising quality of ingredients results in a delicious outcome. The Amuse Bouche of raw tuna on a home made noki cracker was outstanding. Beet salad was fresh and had an unexpected crunch factor. The tenderloin was a favourite. Wine selection was ample and reasonably priced. We took home a jar of their maple pistachio granola and it is, by far, the best granola I have ever had. We’ll be back.
