Awful…… drove 2 hours to eat here food was not cooked well or properly served raw bacon under cooked potatoes running eggs. Rude host! Will never go back!!!!!! Definitely over priced for such small portions not worth the time or effort

Bad service! Sat down didn’t get a waiter for 15-20 min, they took our order, brought out drinks after 20 minutes. Didn’t get our until I had asked 3 times where it was. Food was bad even after all the wait. Music was blasting, the staff seemed incredibly disorganized and confused. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Honestly I can see how this used to be a good place but at some point someone stopped caring. I never really right reviews but I was honestly just really disappointed with the whole thing especially since it was for Mother’s Day. I paid $200 to sit in a falling apart bubble outside which looked nothing like the pictures for the “winter wonder land.” The server was really nice and doing the best he could but it took about 35 minutes to get a cup of coffee. We were the second family sitting outside so I didn’t understand why the long wait. When the food came it was cold which was a big disappointment as you could tell it did have good flavor. The eggs were also really undercooked to the point where they had a clear casing over the yolk. So I spent $300 plus dollars for a half assed “experience” that was a massive let down. I mean I totally get being under staffed (if that was the case) and busy but it doesn’t really excuse the price. I honestly just hope they did better for all the other people who paid that much and maybe we were just an outlier.

Fun menu, lots of childhood nostalgia, and its black owned!

For $150 reservation for 3 people, I thought they might have had it set up before we got there. There were basic amenities missing, the music wasn’t set up and one of the servers was putting together tables. The food was phenomenal but i would pass on the outdoor experience next time and go inside.

DO NOT LET THE ADVERTISEMENTS FOOL YOU, THIS PLACE SUCKS. This restaurant has the worst false advertisements I’ve ever seen in my life. The scenery is raggedy, there’s no Bluetooth speaker for each table, absolutely no space heaters and no board games as advertised. The food is good but it falls apart. They charged me a reservation fee of $100 for 2 people but when we got there they claimed each igloo was $50 so I had to get a $50 credit back. It’s literally not worth it at all in my opinion. You’d be better off buying a see-through tent and preparing your own food with a Bluetooth speaker, space heater and you’re own board games. It’s nothing like the pictures. The waitress’s are unprofessional and in casual attire.. I literally thought someone’s niece just walked into the wrong igloo. One guy was picking up trash right behind us and I thought he was homeless. The drinks are pretty strong but other than that this place sucks.

The igloo was in terrible condition. All of the amenities listed online were not provided I.e. the heat lamp, blanket. The waitstaff took a long time to take our orders and the menu offerings online were different from the menu provided. The food was just okay! We had to send the wings and the tater tots were under cooked. The best thing that we had were my drink and milkshakes. I was truly disappointed because it was a date night with my son and after spending over $300 we left hungry.

Waiter was clueless and forgetful, but the manager compensated with 20% off. Logistics could be much better but the food is great!!!

Our waiter was very kind and attentive. However, the food was quite bland and some was either over cooked or undercooked. The music was appreciated however it was so loud at times that is interrupted the conversation with my guest.

Theyre brunch menu didnt start untill 11 which was never stated on the menu. We had to wait an hour just to order. The servers were very friendly and helpful but our server changed THREE times due to staff not showing up to work. The food was mediocre at best. Will not be dining there again

The waitress by the name of sunny was a real sweetheart and explained everything perfectly.

I made a reservation for 7:15 but my friends and I arrived 30 minutes early and we were seated immediately in the best section of the restaurant! We decided to do brunch with bottomless mimosas and they were the perfect ratio of juice and champagne! I will be back soon!

The server was awesome and that's where it stops. The food was $$$$ and GROSS!

The $40 brunch special is great. The food came out a little lukewarm, and the orange juice for the mimosas is the sour kind. Love the environment with r&b music playing loud over the speakers. Interesting and innovative food choices.

1. Worst service ever, I'm sure Saddam Hussein got better treatment after he was captured.
2. The igloo experience is a nice idea/thought, but junky and doesn't seem to be managed very well.
3. The server didn't greet us for an hour after we watched the host repeatedly tell them to greet us.
4. The server didn't introduce herself, she aggressively stuck her head into the igloo and said "ya'll know what ya'll wanna order?!"
5. The terrible server offered no apology for the long wait, only a sad excuse that the food runners don't do their job well
6. Food was cold, I guess the traffic on U street caused them to not run our food across the street in a timely manner.

My friends and I had a great time for Saturday brunch on the covered patio. I would definitely recommend this establishment to others and I would return again.

While hosting a party of 6, the waiter failed to bring a member of our party’s meal an hour after everyone else. Given the price to reserve the space I expected better service. It should also be made clear that the reserved spaces don’t enjoy the regular menu due to the reserved spaces being several blocks away from the actual restaurant. Many would chose to forgo the reserved spaces if aware of the fact that their food is being delivered from nearly two blocks away. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

The igloo experience was the only option to reserve. Even though the weather was only 65 degrees or so, the igloos were incredibly hot. There was no sort of fan/ventilation but luckily we were able to be moved to a picnic table. The Oh You Fancy shrimp and grits was out of this world. Will definitely be returning.

Food was definitely not worth the price. Lunch and all day menus begin at 11 am which should be stated on their website since their all day, every day menu is not actually all day. I've definitely had better bottomless mimosas elsewhere so I'd skip this location for brunch if I were you.

Brian is an amazing manager! He made sure my friends and I were getting proper service and that our food was brought out in a timely manner. His service is impeccable!

Florida Avenue and U Street are saturated with the restaurants and happy hours ... I think I’ll skip this one in the future.

We were here for happy hour and overall the happy hour isn’t that great. It’s a $35 bottomless food and drinks but the food is awful And the service is slow! The food is like straight NASTY, and the drinks are just OK. If you’re going for drinks then I guess it’s worth the money, but if you’re going for food ... then no. If they’re going to make the food and drinks mandatory in order to get any happy hour special, then the food needs to be on point! They have shrimp deviled eggs listed on the menu but when you get them they’re just regular deviled eggs..no shrimp, no obey, nothing like what’s listed on the menu ... they told me that “it’s a mistake & Shouldn’t have been on the menu” The worst crab fries I’ve ever had and this is DC so there’s really no excuse for crab and mayonnaise mixed atop undercooked fries. The food and drinks came out so slow so we were there for over 30 minutes and with one drink & no food. The waitress hardly came to our table because she knew she didn’t have food or drinks for us 🙄. Eventually the manager came and pretended to do us a favor by getting our food and the drinks out to us promptly and bringing out the shrimp deviled eggs even those those were all of the things promised us on the happy hour menu anyhow... To top it off, the yelp app offered me 25% to “check in” and the waitress and manager tried to say they needed to see my review in order to use the discount... WHET?! Never again.

I requested this table two weeks in advance. We had to sit outside in this makeshift lot in a wobbly picnic table. The bathroom was still in the establishment which was down the block. I was highly disappointed and expressed it to a manager who didn’t care. I was told I had to request in advance to be sat at the restaurant and not in the vacant lot. Not returning.

We enjoyed a great brunch at this location. The customer service was excellent and the food was very tasty!

Terrible experience. The iglus are dirty, the ambience is cheap, the place is insanely loud, the servers are rude, and the food is terrible (steak was dry, potatoes were raw). Not worth your money, its a scam.

Everything was great. My only recommendation is to change the potatoes in “The WAP”

Absolutely amazing service and food as always. It’s good to finally come back to our favorite spot and the bartender Tyler made it that much more spectacular.

The food was excellent. The service was poor took a hr to get water. The igloos are not worth 50$ a person as our tables and chairs were leaning due to the gravel and un even ground. I would sit inside next time better vibes.

Didnt think to mention their outdoor “winter experience” was in the middle of a festival with loud blasting music. Couldn’t even talk to my spouse for our anniversary dinner. No refunds offered. What a lovely place (to purchase a headache).

What a disappointing experience. I took my parents here after raving about it being a black-owned restaurant . As soon as we walked in, there was a party of about 6 waiting to be seated and we all stood there for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Someone finally came over to direct us to a seat but we couldn’t tell if he actually worked there as we had been sitting down conversing with a girl the entire time we waited. The service was terrible. It was evident that the restaurant was short-staffed but we didn’t get water until about 25 minutes after being seated. I had a party of 3 and we were set at a large table that could sit 8-10 people. It was uncomfortable and weird. Once we were able to finally order and our food came out, it was terrible. I had the Yardbird burger and it was still “wet” on the inside. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and wish we could’ve received better service and food.
