Chinois haute cuisine is meant to be enjoyed and experienced in the proper fashion. Let the 4-floor rooftop enclave of rich textures and hues mesmerize you with waves of exotic dishes. The name "Hakkasan" pays homage to the ‘Hakka’ people from the New Territories of Hong Kong while ‘san’ is the respectful Japanese form of address. This same tradition and respect goes into every menu item and how they are each prepared and presented.

To complement our wine list, there is a $60 corkage fee (per 750 ML) for two bottles and $120 for any additional bottle (per 750 ML).

I always go to Hakkasan for my birthday. Love the food and cocktails. Our waiter Gil was outstanding, very professional. My husband commented that it is the best restaurant in Miami.

The food was excellent. We had the Miami spice menu and it was great. We added the sea bass which was delicious. The food and the presentation were phenomenal and Bruno our server was spectacular. The experience was awesome.

My sister has severe food allergies. We informed the waiter at the very beginning, and he said there would be no risk of cross contamination (just don’t eat dishes with shellfish/nuts, and you’ll be fine). After we ordered appetizers, he came back to inform us that they actually could not guarantee that ANYTHING on the menu would be risk-free of cross contamination with shellfish or nuts. She could not eat anything. We promptly left after a ruined night! Would not have been a problem if he had informed us when we sat down as opposed to informing us after we had been there for 45 minutes, ordered appetizers, and two bottles of wine. Very disappointing.

I feel like Hakkasan is past its prime. We remembered having a phenomenal meal here in 2016 or so but now the dishes and flavors do not seem to have maintained the freshness, newness, and uniqueness that Hakkasan offered previously. Could also be my personal palette though.

THe sound level is outrageously loud with a thumping bass. This is not dinner music . What is the point in this when it then becomes necessary to talk louder. Older adults do not enjoy this during dinner.
