Delicious food in a perfect ambiente. Highly recommand this place. We went there for a special occasion and they left us a little note on the table. We had a great evening.
We ordered a whole duck and only the breast was served and they refused to serve the the legs and the thighs. We were charged for a whole duck, but got only less than half. One of the employees said quietly that it’s their policy to keep the legs and the thighs(best part of their duck) to be used in their duck salad for other guests orders. We will never go back.
Food was great! Service was good! Had a great time :)
Best Chinese food in the USA. UNBELIEVABLE. AAA
Dined at Hakkasan Sunday night. Had an 8:00 reservation. We were asked to wait at the bar for a few minutes while our table was made ready. After 35 minutes and 2 drinks later I checked on our reservation. The hostess apologized but said it would just be 5 minutes more. After an additional 20 minutes we were finally seated. On the way to our table we could see quite a few empty tables set for dining. Very unhappy to have waited 55 minutes for our table. Once we placed our order the food arrived quickly. It was very tasty and lived up to our expectations.
I like the place because of the floor plan and kind of privacy. Food is great, spicy, never dissapointing. Bar has a very intriguing design. But this visit I was dissapointed with my table. I specified that I am coming for anniversary dinner and I got seated in a very uncomfortable table. We asked the hostess and the manager to switch table but they responded it would take at least one hour.
Having been to Hakkasan in Jakarta which was a great food evening, we decided to try the Miami one! Food-wise this place is great, their dishes are good, the asian fusion is on point and really you cannot go wrong here in terms of food. Service was very good and prices were good even if the chain is a premium chain.
What I did not like at all was the ambiance and noise level. We went on a Friday evening and apparently there is a DJ there banging some house/minimal tunes as it is like an entrance to enter the club. During dinner, this kind of ambiance is so not welcome, i couldn't hear my partner properly and at some point we started getting tired of talking loud.
Way over priced mediocre food. Nothing spectacular for the high price you pay.
Our waiter was lovely, perfect for a little birthday surprise for my boyfriend
The appetizer were amazing - crispy Kuobuta pork belly. The crispy duck salad was delicious as was the soft shell crab. Beef tenderloin was so tasty and satisfying. The baby pak choi was great too. Overall it was an amazing meal.
Retaurant was nothing special, location at such a crowded hotel as the Fountainblue hotel is not ideal, indoor ambiance is too dark and feels dirty. Food was ok but all dishes came lukewarm so we ate fast and left. Would not return
Food is delicious, couldn’t fault any of the dishes we had. The atmosphere was very relaxed with a cool vibe.
One of the best restaurants here at the Fontainebleau!
Always great and consistent
Not sure why the Jasmine Tea Smoked Ribs was tagged with the Hakkasan symbol on the menu. Usually that indicates house specialty. However the dish was weirdly tasteless despite being drenched in sauce? Truly baffled at the dish was so flavorless. Hot and sour soup and the steamed dim sum platter were good. Baby bok choi and golden fried pork belly were also good. Obviously being Asian I’ll support a high end Chinese restaurant but too bad most often the high end restaurants are never as tasty as the hole in the wall spot with the surly waiters who will tell you when you’re ordering the wrong things.
That being said, the busboys and waitstaff were awesome
Very bad food, last time!!
This place is a great option for a night out. The location is great as it's inside the Fontainebleu Hotel so you get to enjoy both the restaurant and the bar on the Hotel lobby, after a great dining experience. The Peking duck is outstanding, the green beans amazing, the desserts just awesome. The service is great. The martinis are a bit strong, but that's not an issue. :)
I hope to go again soon. Love this place.
The food was so so not really felt the flavor it has been better.
Service was horrible my husband ordered tequila and he knows his tequila and he was given a lower grade , this happened not once but twice. Manager had to get involved but it left a bad taste behind. We have spent many special dinners celebrating birthdays and other occasions but this for sure should never ever happen in a place like this.
It was amazing
The best Peking duck!!!
I ordered a very expensive entree: duck in black truffle sauce, which on paper sounded amazing but in reality was dull & ordinary. My friend ordered the cod in champagne sauce which had a very fishy taste & the sauce was overwhelmingly sweet. Appetizers were forgettable, service was cheeky. This Hakkasan is a pale imitation of the New York restaurant which is truly excellent. Won’t be going back any time soon. Ciao
I would recommend this restaurant to those staying nearby. All of the appetizers were delicious. However, once we got to the main entrees (particularly the noodles and fried rice) and there was much to be desired.
The service was horrible and couldn’t get the attention of the server. They only thing good was they corn soup. Everything else literally had “no” taste. My expectations were high and I was disappointed with my experience. Better places in Miami for $250.00 for 2 people. Sorry for this review but it’s true.
Best hot and sour soup I have ever had. One of the best Chinese cuisine I have had (in any Country, including in Asia). I would highly recommend this for small groups, for visitors like myself this was an amazing experience. Reasonably priced, especially for a restaurant located in Fontainbleu Hotel. Must try the Hakka Noodles. They are known for them. The egg fried rice is spot on. No bad dish on the menu. I will definitely come back next time I am in Miami.
Great ambiance, the food was delicious, great variety, service was amazing.
very good food, good service, pleasant ambience. Outstanding menu
Food was amazing, outstanding service- our waiter made sure my birthday was special :)
The food was exceptional and our server Steven was a gem!
Food quality is overrated in my personal opinion. Seems like you pay for the name, setting and service but food should not be served cold and and flavours were lacking for the price paid. Based on this I will not be returning to this branch in Miami. London was a far better experience.
Sensational food, service and ambience!
Miami Spice weekend lunch made this an excellent value. Dim Sum brunch of three individual tasty dumplings, two spiced chicken thigh sticks, steamed baby boy choy and individual bowls of udon noodles with beef were all very good. Mango custard and black sesame desserts finished the $23 bargain lunch. We opted for the Silk Road wine pairing for an additional $25 pp which included Bellini, a German Reisling and a Pinot Noir. Beautiful, comfortable exotic setting. Divided into many private, almost romantic areas. Long walk through hotel lobby then an elevator to reveal a hidden oasis. Easy to run up a big tab but lovely setting, good service and delicious upscale Chinese food.
Loved loved loved the food. We love coming here all the time and our waiter Charlie’s was very very sweet. Such a nice and simple guy. The food is to die for. Wil come again and again. Love Hakkasan all over the world Five stars
Excellent service in a nice ambiance. Wine list will accommodate your taste and pocket. Food from Miami Spice was delicious and fulfilled their price challenges. Portions could be a bit larger.
Wonderful food, terrific service as always.
Food was awesome! Energy and music was fast. Price was good but only because it was Miami spice week.
We did spa and spice. What a great day!! The menu was fabulous w/ shrimp, chicken and lobster! We loved the rice and both dessert options were unique and flavorful.
The couple next to us arguing made our evening even more lively.
Had some meat which was undercooked!Over rated not very tasty... can eat much more flavourful food at more than half the cost! Just paying for the ambiance and name really! Trust me!
I was born in a Caribbean island, I know lobsters very well. Please, remove your lobster dishes from the menu. It is an insult to call an empty boiled head and tail: a lobster, and charge 600% markup value.
