   Poor service And food Food selection was lacking and the waiter was terrible. He Took our menus before we ordered entrees. Then when we ordered he told us we were ordering too much and to stop and that it’s better to under order! When I told him we did not want to do that he was visibly annoyed. Even with that food we barely had e light. And the food came out at different times. Half our table was done with their entrees before the other half got their food

   Hakkasan: A Disappointing Experience My recent visit to Hakkasan was disappointing, falling far short of the high standards I have experienced at other locations. While the service was commendable, the food and overall ambiance simply did not measure up. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and provided good service. Our server, Clair, was particularly attentive and tried to compensate for the underwhelming food quality by offering a complimentary dessert. The bar area was also somewhat cool, though it, like the rest of the restaurant, seemed like it could use a refresh. However, the food was the biggest letdown. The Dim Sum platter, for example, was bland and uninspired, and the portions of the main courses, while described as shareable, were surprisingly small for the price.The ambiance was acceptable, but it did not elevate the overall experience. We arrived for our 7:00 pm dinner reservation to find the restaurant not particularly crowded. However, it became quite crowded later, and the entrance area became congested, possibly indicating some inefficiencies in the restaurant's layout or management. Additionally, valet parking was quite pricey, and a 20% gratuity was included in the bill. Ultimately, the combination of underwhelming food, mandatory 20% gratuity, and high prices made this a thoroughly disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this Hakkasan location and have no intention of returning.

   Excellent food!! The tenderloin was our favourite but crispy prawns, orange crispy chicken, short ribs and spring onion fried rice were also amazing! The music is brilliant modern dance vibes, we were warned it would be loud when we booked as we asked for a quieter table so expected it to be unbearable - it was fine. I needed to leave early and the server couldn’t help us enough, arranging take out package and getting the cheque promptly for us. The restaurant styling is super cool too, we will be back!

   We enjoyed our dinner with our guests, ordering favorite traditional Peking Duck, the Dim Sum Platter, Hakka Noodles and the Grilled Honey Sea Bass, along with cocktails and sake. It was a memorable bday dinner for my goddaughter. This remains a favorite restaurant for modern and refined Chinese cuisine that is consistently delicious, well presented and reliable service. We shall continue to dine here.
