Wonderful flavors. Small shareable plates, but just the right amount. Really fun, design with throw back to old AZ and Lots of plants incorporated. The cocktails were well executed. I will be back! I see they just won best new restaurant by Phoenix Magazine too! Congrats!

Hai Noon is honestly similar to Nobu type quality food. Service was excellent, drinks were delicious and custom made. Overall this restaurant is top notch! Smaller portions but I ordered every dish on the menu and was blown away!

My wife and I have been fans of Chef Nobuo Fukuda since his days at Sea Saw. We have always enjoyed his creativity and attention to detail and his new restaurant continues in that tradition. The food was delicious and innovated. The atmosphere is unpretentious and enjoyable. We will return again and again.

I had been missing Chef's food since Teeter House closed. So glad he's back. Food was amazing- we had the oysters, tuna, soft-shelled crab with rice noodles, Tofu and papaya salad, and all were perfect. Drinks on point too- we did a flight of different Shochu, and my cocktail (a mezcal-inspired version of a pina colada) was delicious. The soy-butter and chili-mixed nuts was the most addictive bar snack I have had in awhile. Old school, lo-fi stereo behind the bar and other interior design features take away any fine-dining "coldness" and my girlfriend loved the design of the place. You really feel like you are part of a select few who are "in the know"when you walk in, as the exterior of the Sonder hotel makes for good camouflage- you woul dnever guess that a James Beard winner was waiting inside with some of the best food in town. We will be back.

This is THE date night place. The food was phenomenal. The ambiance was perfect. The service was second to none. Arizona (waiter) made the experience exceptional. Nobuo and his sons have outdone themselves. I can't recommend it enough. Best restaurant experience in many years.

Chef Nobuo Fukuda is a culunary treasure. Don't miss this opportunity to taste his latest small bite treats in this delight bar setting. From the porkbelly buns to the eggplant baked with bacon miso to the mushrooms papilotte style the tastes were fresh and amazing.

We loved our experience at Hai Noon. Our bartender and waiter, Arizona, was knowledgeable and patient as we made our choices. He was very helpful in describing the food and giving us options to choose from that would fit our taste. EVERYTHING was delicious and we had 7 different things on the menu. I mean it was delish:) The chef is fantastic and even came out to deliver our meals and visit a little bit. This was the perfect place for date night!

We are so fortunate to have Chef Nobuo Fukada and team producing deliciously creative small plates and exotic cocktails at Hai Noon in Scottsdale. Every item is outstanding. A few of the choices: Shishito Peppers; Tofu & Green Papaya; Mushrooms with Sake, Soy sauce, Garlic butter, and Trottole, papillote style; Amberjack, Ceviche style with Shiso, Myoga, Taro chip; Yellowtail with grapefruit and avocado; Soft Shell Crab & Rice Noodle. All divine!

We have been fans of Teeter House, his previous restaurant, and we're so glad that Chef Nobuo is back with Hai Noon. The pork belly buns were amazing, as usual. We also had the shisito pepper, eggplant and oyster appetizers and tuna entree. All were delicious, but we'd skip the eggplant next time since it wasn't soft/cooked enough. The calipico cocktail and sour beer were also wonderful compliments to the dishes. We'll definitely will be back for more pork belly buns!!

Chef Nubuo always prepares excellent cuisine, and this was no exception. It's great to have him back in the Valley. We were great fans and frequent visitors to his restaurant at Teeter House. Highly recommended!

Hai Noon is just what you would expect from award-winning chef Nobuo Fakuda. Small, highly thought-out morsels bursting with flavor. The oysters were the favorite but everything was wonderful. Our group sampled the pork belly bun, shishito peppers, tofu and green papaya, duck salad, tuna, salmon and oyster. Highly recommend the experience. Very creative cocktails. The space is small so make a reservation.

We enjoyed our meal at Hai Noon. the waiter was particularly helpful as the food was unfamiliar to us. I really liked the chicken salad and the pork belly buns. But it was all delicious.

Chef Nobuo keeps up his incredible cuisine with this new venture. Similar in style to Teeter House, with a different twist on the seating. Probably best for date night, as it’s small and seats maybe 25-30 people per sitting. If you like incentive Japanese tapas this is the place to go

I will follow chef Nobu anywhere. He is ,after all, a James Beard award winner 🥇. This cozy enclave attached to The Sonder hotel is a gem. We started with 3 of the exotic cocktails and a Japanese beer. Each cocktail was unique and delicious. We were lucky enough to order the goat cheese stuffed squash blossoms which are the absolute best I have ever had. We moved on to the mushrooms baked in paper. They were sublime. Next the pork belly buns, softshell crab over noodles and finally a duck breast salad. Everything was scrumptious. What a great find. Thank you Nobu for providing us a great experience.

Awesome gem to have in Scottsdale! The menu and cocktails are so thoughtful and you can tell are made with super high quality ingredients. We enjoyed chatting with the bartenders (who had amazing suggestions) and admiring the moody, rocky atmosphere. Highlights were the tuna, pork buns, eggplant, yellowtail spoons and the Calpico cocktail.

Chef Nobuo Fukuda. Previously of Sea Saw in Old Town Scottsdale and later, Nobuo at Teeter House, downtown Phoenix. There is almost nothing left to say. This is a small diner sized restaurant inside a motel/hotel being remodeled on McDowell. As was the case with his previous two restaurants, the food is magical. Taste combinations that are unexpected and like no where else. Bites that make you shut your eyes so you can just let the tastes linger, they are so good. We tried the six primary entree dishes as well as several others from the menu and there was nothing but winners. If he's offering Squash Blossoms when you dine there, order them! Great cocktails as well and a very attentive staff. Highly recommended.
