Terrible service.

Igloo was so perfect! Spinach quesadillas were perfect, hamburger perfect, grilled chicken breast salad not so perfect. Lettuce with unripe tomatoes with sliced green pepper and dry small pieces of grilled chicken. Not eye appealing or tasty.

This is a great place go often

We reserved one of the igloos for lunch after a hike in Harm's Woods. I LOVE their fried onion rings, and the three of us managed to demolish a full mountain of them. Burgers and reuben were yummy, and they have a nice selection of beers on tap.

Ate outdoors in a geodesic dome- delightful.

Had a great time sitting outside, all the food was great - all staff incredibly helpful and attentive.

The food was excellent, as usual. The service was great. We reserved a spot in a dome on the patio, which was fun and had a nice ambience. There was a heater, which we didn't need.They are doing a great job with safety during the pandemic. The waiter handed the food through the window as an extra safety precaution.

Went there on St Pats day. Dome was great, drinks were great. We had a good time. The corned beef was sliced really thin, I would have preferred a thicker slice which probably would have kept the meat warmer. Overall a good time though.

We came to Hackney’s on Harms for Sr. Patrick’s day. Our dome was clean and warm. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was excellent.

We were seated right away in a clean sanitized dome. We were made aware of specials. The food came soon after it was ordered. CDC guidelines were followed all of the time. Everyone was friendly. Kiira, the bar manager, is wonderful. The new wine being served was very good. Will return again.

Very disappointed. The food was and the service was awesome Beyond the atmosphere was great. When we arrived we told the person who seated us that it was a birthday. We told the manager that was birthday and requested photos. We put on OpenTable that it was a birthday, and nothing was acknowledged.

The domes were amazing! So glad I got to experience them, highly recommended especially at night!

Dining in the patio bubble/dome was very pleasant on a sunny and mild day.

Love the food. Did a good job with limited outside dining during pandemic.

The food is simple and straightforward and constantly good. The staff is both friendly and accommodating.

It’s a wonderful place to eat with friends and family. I go there frequently.

Everything went very well. Service and food were exceptional.

Had a wonderful lunch in a festive Geodesic Dome complete with heaters and blankets. Excellent service. Delicious onion loaf and Bleu Cheese Burgers. Highly recommended Hackneys!

Clean, warm, food excellent as always and the service was just perfect.

Food was good; but not anything special; we’ll go back sometime. We ate in one of their semi-heated igloos; 40 degrees outside. It did have a nice big outdoor “neighborhood pub” feel to it. Probably more fun of a place when the weather’s warmer and Covid is in the rearview mirror.

Our experience at Hackneys was great. We had a private, heated igloo. It was still a bit chilly, but not horrible. They had blankets to use and we brought our own as well. Our server Ralph was fantastic. Very prompt and friendly. Food was wonderful too!!

Great food and the snow globes are really different

What an experience! We were very warm inside a delightfully Valentine decorated igloo! Food was good - hamburgers, fries and 1/2 onion ring brick. Couldn't have asked for a better winter experience!!!!

I wish I got the name of the waiter that served us, but it really was a team effort. The whole experience was wonderful. The plastic igloo was so much fun and the heaters kept us warm. they also had blankets on the chairs that were helpful as well. You can not get a better social distancing experience anywhere they passed our food through an opening int the igloo so we had little to no contact. I highly recommend reservations since there are only 10 igloos available but they are set next to the forest preserve and have strings of light inside. The food was delicious as always! I give them a 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful dinner in our heated dome. It was warm (no coats needed but the blankets on each chair was a nice touch) and beautiful since we were nestled in the snow and lights. Our server, Jose, was fantastic. The food and service were great - it really was the perfect winter night. Thank you, Hackney's!

The igloos are great! We felt completely safe and as if we were in a winter wonderland.

Love everything about this place!
We drive a long way to visit but so worth the trip!

We sat in an igloo with the door partly opened and it was surprisingly comfortable. Both of us sat coatless in 38
Degree weather. Our server could not have been better and the food more than met our expectations! We will be doing it again soon.

The food is as good as it was 60 years ago when I went there for the first time. It would have been nice to have more time in our dome, but we were reminded a couple of times that our time was limited.

Service was timely. Food was warm despite being in an igloo and 20 degrees outside. Overall a nice change of scenery during this time.

Ate in an igloo. Warm and inviting. Employees all wore masks. Food passed through a window of the igloo.

Loved every minute of it, it was warm the beer was flowing, and it was a great great set up.

Magical in the igloos

Sat in a free geo-dome & had a nice evening. No music outdoors or in the dome...would make it more lively if they had something! Food came out to the dome warm & fresh. Server was super attentive & friendly.

Like individual igloos we can control air flow and heating

Domes are decorated and blankets are provided for additional warmth. Very homey. Friendly service.
