Hachidori translates to hummingbird, represented in Japanese culture as a symbol of the enjoyment of life and its pleasures.

Inspired by Tokyo’s exciting dining scene, Hachidori is a Japanese eatery where bold flavors, dim lights and throwback hits are meant to transport us. We reinterpret traditional Japanese cuisine with the promise of delivering innovative recipes, quality ingredients and exceptional hospitality.

We focus on Japanese soul food and street fair staples including ramen, donburi, gyozas, temakis and bao buns, paired with ice-cold beer, wine and sake. We focus on a select few dishes, following the Japanese notion that concentrating on fewer things results in a better performance. From the sourcing of quality ingredients and the flavors to the presentations, every detail works in synergy to create an experience.

Over all who ever gives this place a bad review just needs to reevaluate their life. Our order took a while and got caught in a flash rain sitting outside immediately brought us inside and did not charge us for our ramen due to the wait (system issue). Had to return the deed by giving the waiter the ramen value as a tip. The food was absolutely to die for such a nice thick broth on the O.G, Apps were delicious! This restaurant is on my top 5 fav ramen spots in south florida.

This was our second time at Hachidori and it was such a wonderful experience that I had to make a review. Aside of the phenomenal staff that greets and serves you, the TanTan ramen is so savory and definitely a must. We had the pork gyozas, a large TanTan ramen for two and the cheese tarts for dessert (they were a recommendation from the team, and wow they were great!) Can’t wait to come back!

The service was friendly. However it could not compensate for the extremely salty broth of the ramen we ordered , the Og medium spice level and the shrooms . The vegtables of the soups were well chosen by the chefs and the presentation and garnishes were appropriate as well as the appetizers we ordered. The broth of both Ramen dishes were the issue, and a deal breaker. I expected a fantastic broth as I had waited a rather long time between the order and being served. Of course that has nothing to do with the quality of the broth. I felt that in the end it was not not worth the value. My family and I were unfortunately disappointed as restaurants that serve ramen are not commen in the south Florida area. Their was one female African American who asked us what we thought and she said she would give feedback to the chefs. I am not a expert on Japanese food but I did live in Japan for 12 years and I was married to a Japanese national for 20 years so I have a pretty good understanding of the culinary arts of the various styles and forms of cooking. So unfortunately my family has decided not to return to the restaurant.

I will be fair. Ramen is great. Pork in it IS THE BEST OUT OF ALL RAMEN spots. Tuna with rice bowl is fantastic. Service is very good. But 44 minutes of waiting after making order to the time we got it- too long. I know it was busy, but that was really long time. I just came back and changed from 4* to 5* just to not ruin it. But it was VERY SLOW. Kitchen is small and I was wondering how they handle everything, but it affected our further plans. So far if I walk near Hachidori ramen and see - there is no people- I would go :)

The guy who serve us was great, the food amazing, the music too laud to have a conversation. The place is neat and good ambience. I, we, recommend it!
