   We used to love coming here, but it has rapidly declined lately. More than anything, there's never enough staff, so the service is terrible, with unhappy, unfriendly, rushed staff, messed up orders, and messed up bills. Then on top of that it used to be fair priced, but now just seems overpriced, and they even refuse outright to supply tap water, which is just greedy, an environmental waste, and it's actually illegal to refuse free water in Australia, and huge for me, as I have a medical condition. We just didn't enjoy being there the last two times we went, with an unfriendly, unhappy, greedy vibe. Sadly, I think we are done with this place.

   We are really sorry to hear that but we will investigate about water, we used have tap water self serve and we got told under current situation, we cant have shared water. But we will look into it. Our staff is always get compliment for friendliness, communication could be sometimes challenging as we are still learning English. But Thank you for your feedback and we will try to improve.

   Unfortunately we went on a busy night ( Thursday). It took almost 45 mins to order. People who came in after us were already eating by the time someone took our order. The prices have increased also. We use to go there a lot as being our local Japanese favourite, however the service has slipped and the staff were not coping with the amount of diners.

   Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you had to wait for long time. We have self ordering system offered at table for some customer would like to split bill so they might used the system and order came though before your order. But we are always trying to give our best attention to customer. Wage, Cost of food, rent increase every year as you would know. We also increased price as we need to sustain business. Thankfully we had busy day and sorry we were overwhelmed. Thank you

   The food was fantastic. The dishes were all freshly made and beautifully presented. My personal favourite was the Kim chi pork OMG loved it!!! The sashimi was also very fresh. This is the second time we have gone and will def go back again. Thanks Nam 👍

   I've been going to Hachi since it opened and it still has excellent food and is reasonably valued. However the service level has crashed lately, the last two times we've been it wasn't great but this time we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken (after asking several times) and then our food took over 40 minutes to arrive. I will still go back to Hachi but I do hope for their sake (and outs!) they pick up the slack when it comes to service and food wait time. It's a gem of Nobby's and the coast.

   Wonderful service! Yummy food! Pretty loud atmosphere but overall nice. Forgot to give us the early bird discount they offered.
