Marcus was our server and he was awesome. Professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Great dining experience!
This is our second time eating at Habitat on a Saturday night. We love the ambiance and they had live music. Javi G Music are incredible! As for the food, the menu is small and the portions are even smaller. The menu is extremely overpriced. My two little tacos were $25 and came with a bite of beans. It felt more like an appetizer than an entree.
Had a great dinner nice staff
Amazing, food was wonderful and adorable inside.
Food was very expensive for what it was. The best parts of our meal were sadly the side of rice and corn we ordered. Unimpressed.
Great food. Fantastic waiter. Very loud.
Great bar service. We sat at the bar. Great vibe
Nice with the live music Thursday- Sunday 7pm-10pm I think. Our server, Taylor V was really nice and helpful with the menu. We will for sure go back
They were closed on arrival
Enjoyed eating here. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good and unique. Band was loud but that’s expected!
Very overpriced for the experience and quality of food.
Food was mediocre. Drinks were bomb. Service was excellent.
Too expensive for what it is. Nice ambience and decor tho.
Incredible experience. From the ambience to the food to the service. We would come back in a heartbeat and bring friends to enjoy it, too. Loved the live band. Our bartender/server, Andre was super helpful, attentive and genuine. Thank you!!
We were happy to be able to have a meal at Habitat after their recent reopening. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff extremely courteous and professional. The restaurant space is beautiful and the live music Saturday evening was excellent.
Delicious food & fun atmosphere
Expensive for Mexican
We had an absolutely incredible experience here. We were visiting and had never been, but it was close to where we were staying and we were able to make reservations. As soon as we walked in the vibe was just great. There was a phenomenal musical group playing Latin music and our table was near the bar and kitchen so we could see the beautiful plates and drinks being made.
We were offered free beverages by the beverage manager (I apologize, I cannot remember his exact title, but he was absolutely wonderful) and it was as though he already knew us with the selection he brought. My husband had the Mayanhattan and I had the ME Margarita— absolute heaven in both glasses.
We ordered everything that was recommended to us by our waitress: signature guacamole (superb), ceviche mixto (amazing), and the Puebla style lamb tacos (the meat was just perfect). Every dish was prepared with style, expertise unmatched, and creativity.
When we return to Miami, this will be one of our first stops. Thank you for everything, Habitat staff and managers! You made our trip that much better.
Service was terrible. Our server seemed distracted, we sat for quite awhile waiting for silverware as our food got cold. We were there to celebrate a birthday, server didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or mention the birthday. Food was disappointing because it was cold.
We enjoyed the outdoor seating. The initial chair my husband was seated in was broke. The outdoor seating is set up on the front and side corner of the restaurant so we had a lot of people just walking through trying to get to the side street. Also, being on a main road there was a lot of street traffic noise.
The food was great. We loved the guacamole and tacos. We had the rice and seafood entree. If we were to do it over we would skip the entree and just get more tacos.
Overall we enjoyed our dinner at Habitat.
Nice place. Food is great and music was a very nice touch
Love the ambiance
Did not expect the menu change but the apps and dessert are extraordinary! We had the roasted cauliflower elote and what is easily one of the most flavorful crab cakes I have ever had. The tour de force of flavors continued with dessert: Tonka bean and to tonela Panna cotta.
Viva Mexico @ SOBE! What an amazing night!!!
Being Mexican, We decided to try upscale Mexican food at our “neighbor’s” place Habitat. We invited our own Russian supermodel friend Lana to give us her opinion on this gastronomic adventure. And.... OMG this place delivered! An extraordinary experience starting by the Warm welcome from the Restaurant Manager, the outstanding service provided by Leidy and the delicious food of Chef Juan who kindly came to the table. We started ordering some cocktails which really took us back to Mexico. A Oaxacan Paloma made with Mezcal and the F. Khalo, a Hendricks gin cocktail with mango and serrano. We ordered crab cakes, stake tartare and hamachi aguachile for appetizers. As main course, we had the Florida Snapper Veracruzano, Tamal del Huerto and Chile Relleno and Florida Grouper tacos. As a dessert, the house invited us tue Chocolate Guajillo tart. All this paired with red wine. In addition to this extraordinary experience with delicious food with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, the cherry to the cake was the live music of a Latin band of talented musicians that provided entertainment with a variety of rhythms and songs that made the night being magical. If I may probably add a recommendation that would be to include a selection of Mexican wines to their wine list :). Overall, thank you Habitat!!
Amazing job! Will definitely be back!
Food was amazing! The guac was so good and I loved the steak tacos. Drinks were also good..waitress was nice and it was a cool ambiance + not too noisy. Would definitely go back!
Lady was an awesome waitress, super friendly and made the experience lovely. We had a wonderful time. Drinks were beautiful, food was lovely and the over all experience was great. Thanks habitat
The atmosphere was fantastic (such a fun vibe!) but the service was not great. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times and still did not receive several of the dishes we ordered.
BiBi and Elizabeth are INCREDIBLE! They went above and beyond and made our dining experience impeccable. The atmosphere, cocktails and food are just as great. Highly recommend the F. Kahlo drink and Guacamole with homemade pork rinds and “chips” with an assortment of salsas.
The service and the food were underwhelming to say the least. The manager was great and tried his best to salvage the situation but the foundation (hostess, service, and good) was not there. Will not be coming back.
We used to love this restaurant. They changed the menu to Mexican and missed the mark. Very bland. Poor service.
Food is terrible, and does not reflect the menu ingredients.
Excellent food and service at the Thanksgiving Brunch!
Server was slow, kept changing. I had to hunt down some cuttlry. She said she would bring toast but completely forgot. The line for the omelette was soo slow i gave up. asked for a check twice, after 15 minutes it never arrived i had to ask another server and she was fast. Seemed they were over crowded and couldn’t keep up with demand. Third day i ate breakfast there, but will be last due to crap service. Tip: don’t get the buffet
Great brunch and the service was amazing!
The food was very good and our servers were excellent. The specials caused a bit of sticker shock when the check came. But, it was a delicious, fun meal.
Our waitress was amazing and the food was outstanding!
Great atmosphere with an amazing staff. Very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. Even though it looks like a smaller menu there is so much to choose from. Would highly recommend going. I can’t wait to go back.
Highly recommend and wish we had eaten there instead of another steakhouse onsite! This was far better, interesting food pairings and amazing flavours. Still also talking about their grilled octopus and the photo of the cauliflower steak is visually stunning and so tasty!
I would have given Habitat a five star review but for the
prices, which were on the high side. When we arrived for our reservation we were ushered to the most comfortable banquette—great start. The food was absolutely delicious —the rolls, the kale salad, the crab cakes, and especially the Colorado lamb, which may be the best lamb you’ll ever have. The desserts are also excellent—we had the carrot cake. Only the coffee was a disappointment. We also had excellent and personal service.
Gabby the server is extremely knowledgeable and awesome at her job! We loved eating there and she had a knack for anticipating our needs with kids and for ourselves. The food was amazing and restaurant is very pretty!
