I agree ambiance is beautiful, however the food and service was not as expected. The servers were not attentive at all. The plates and glasses were dirty too. I would expect better quality of such expensive restaurant.

Aye Dios - Habana Irvine is FANTASTIC. From 1st greeting to our server, Ebert and DECOR. Absolutely wonderful. The Decor and cheerful reception made me feel like I was at a tropical vacation spot. I will absolutely return and bring friends. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

Everything was great Food was the best ive had and the waiter was amazing. Only thing stopping the perfect rating was when I walked in the host checked me and my wife up and down and was really snobby. Other than that great experience

Our server was great. Unfortunately, I found the food to be less than advertised. The flavor was bland, not enough salt in a few of the dishes. I did enjoy the French toast, but that was about it. The drink I had was so cold I had to use 4 straws (which were paper), and I still could not enjoy it. It was too loud, and overall I will not come back. The restaurant itself is beautiful. My server was great. There was one hostess, a male who was indifferent to me and my guest, but there was a young lady who assisted us and turned everything around. Perhaps the chefs can re-create a few dishes with more flavor and work on better portions.

Such a fun place to celebrate our son's birthday! Wonderful service with attention to detail and extra nice touches. Everyone in our party loved their meal choices! Ahi, Filet minion, paella and Kobe burger - all different yet all delicious. Fun drinks, birthday treats and a fabulous time!

Beautiful Habana-like design. Loved multiple small decor items, including the old-style TV and lots of small lamps in the restroom. The food is very delicious and served in a stylish manner.

Very busy restaurant and of the three meals we ordered only two came out together. The third came out about 20 minutes later. The food was delicious and the mojitos were good. Our server was obviously very busy and that affected customer service. At the end of the meal they did comp the meal that came out super late. I would go back again for Cuban food, but I’m Not in a rush.

Appetizer taste of habana and tostones good. Paella seafood good-great but rice only so-so-soupy disappointing. A little loud, hard to hear people at same table. Server very good, personable. Walls need cleaning.

First time coming here and my fam and friends loved it. We were welcomed with some rose as a complimentary drink when we arrived, had chicken empanadas and cocktails-really great! I had the ropa viejo, just delicious and my husband had the breaded chicken and Yukon potatoes. We were very happy with our meals and loved the ambiance, mojitos and really had a fabulous time.

Girls night out! We’ve come to this location a few times but not sure why things are more spread out on the plates and we used to get plantain chips but when I ordered them off the side I got cooked plantains. Overall it’s a good location, early in the night it’s never crowded.

I expected and hoped for incredibly delicious food from the reviews. However, my impressions are that this place is Very overpriced for very average tasting food. But it's to be expected from foofoo restaurants at major shopping centers. You're just helping them pay their high rent.

Love the place, but last night was an off night. Multiple large parties made our seating and service a bit off. But not as offsetting as the Spectrum's giant sign near the freeway flashing lights, that effected the whole patio.

Great restaurant and the staff at this location was wonderful. It does get much noisier than the Costa Mesa location, so just need to be prepared for that type of vibe. Had a great dinner, but always feel like the cost for the steaks are a little high for the quality. Drinks are wonderful, but the cocktails, specifically the run old fashioned, is a weak pour. Love Habana and will be back though!

It's very noisy if you are not sitting in one of their outdoor areas. During the day, the outdoor patio receives a fair amount of sun. Food was average (paella, lechon, Caribbean plantain pancakes, nothing special about any of it.

If you are looking for authentic Cuban food, AVOID this place. The lechon is a (tough) pork chop, drowned in mojo. The Churrasco (which is more Argentinian than Cuban) was one of the toughest cuts of steak I have ever had. The Cuban sandwiches are made with machengo cheese...come on, machengo?!?! The staff's uniforms are so cliche, I felt bad for them. No masitas, vaca frita, rabo encindido, or anything else traditionally Cuban on the menu! I'm not even sure how or why they're using the name Habana or calling it a Cuban joint. It should just be labeled LATAM fusion, with a very heavy American influence. They do have a very nice rum selection...that's about all they have going for them!

Hosts don’t look at requests or notes. Waited 25 mins past reservation time when there was plenty of open tables, then didn’t even sit us where we requested. Dog was barking the whole time on the patio and the restaurant did nothing about it. Barked so much we moved tables!

My first time and won't be my last! What an incredible experience start to finish. Beautiful and aesthetically pleasing venue, service on point. Pleasantly greeted by all staff, wait staff at table immediately and offered complimentary champagne. Awesome food and drink recommendations, very attentive. The food was the perfect temperature, very flavorful and fresh. Outstanding experience. Thank you Habana staff we had a wonderful date night with friends.
