Dinner: Wenesday to Saturday from 6PM to 11PM
H4C spend to much time on appearance. For the $200+ (2 people) range, there are much better options in Montreal. Having been at H4C twice now. I will not be going back.
While we had a very nice meal we were a little disappointed by the very limited menu options. A choice of 5 or 9 course set menu with very limited options within the menu. Several people had difficulty finding something they wanted to eat.
Très belle ambiance. Personnel impeccable. De l'entrėe jusqu'au dessert excellent.
First time trying it out. The service was horrible - the lack of knowledge from the staff and not accommodating for vegetarians.
Outstanding as usual. Wonderful greeting. They know us and treat us like royalty.

We were disappointed in the service and in the food: all told we found our experience was not at the level that it has been in the past, when both were superlative. . The service was less attentive , (very lengthy wait before we were given menus or served the Amuse. Bouche and the first course ) , and the food seemed to be striving for an innovativeness which took it too far off simply tasty: trying too hard to be unusual .
This was our second visit and a disappointing experience compared to first great one. Menu changed and became overly fancy. Portions became smaller. The bill for 4 was higher then expected, in mid 600-s. Ambience remains very nice and service was immaculate. I don't think we'll be back, at least for a while.

Excellent brunch. A small selection, but very creative options. Excellent coffee and very nice donuts. The eggs were poached perfectly and the duck bacon was outstanding.
The food was great but the wine list was truly outstanding.
Le niveau de bruit était intolérable il y avait une table avec des enfants qui pleuraient et une autre avec une groupe de personne qui fêtaient en criant constamment. Nous invitions des amis et j’ai choisi ce resto pour son ambiance calme et relax .C’était toutle contraire .J’adorai ce resto je n’y retournerai plus jamais .
End of summer birthday celebration.
Our mixed group of vegetarians and meatitarians were all delighted and satisfied by our dinners. Since it was a warm evening, we took advantage of the terrasse. The ambience is so engaging, even sounds of passing trains added to the experience.
The service was attentive but not intrusive. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and the sommelier made good recommendations.
My budget supports this type of outing once or twice a year and I'm very pleased with this choice. I look forward to the next opportunity to come to H4C.
The food was exactly delicious and the combinations just wonderful. The people working there are animated in a foodie way. We were 4 people and took the petite menu and it was enough! We could not continue with the dessert. Very expensive - fyi.

Facile d'accès avec le métro St-Henri à la porte d'à côté, personnel efficace et courtois et un chef très créatif, nous nous sommes régalés sans doute l'un des meilleurs sinon le meilleur de nôtre semaine gastronomique

Very nice restaurant for fine dining. Not very suitable for kids
I have wanted to try this restaurant for a few years and decided to try their brunch on a Sunday. Service was a bit stilted/awkward, but maybe due that we were the second table of the day for their weekend brunch. Food was high quality, lovely presentation and inventive ingredients, wonderfull flavours. Sea buckthorn! (its a berry). I found the doughnuts quite greasy so hard to finish at the tail end of a meal. We were intrigued to see some ribs land on a six top that did not seem to be on the menu but looked delicious. We most likely will go back again, and we will ask about the ribs...
Amazing culinary experience !! This is one of the best restaurants I have tried in Canada ! You must discover this place at least once in your lifetime.

Accueil chaleureux, nous avons choisi le menu 5 services avec la mousse de foie de volaille pour accompagner l'apéro. Dans chaque assiette, une belle fraîcheur, bonne portion et beaucoup de savoir-faire, bref, nous avons passé une excellente soirée.

The duck eggs Benedict and the smoked haddock eggs Benedict were to die for! Children ate so many homemade pastries and bread that I don’t think they ate until supper time. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting brunch in Montreal
If there’s availability and the weather is kind, then sit outside, as it just adds to the experience. We will be back!
This was my 5th time visiting H4C for both dinner and brunche. They always provide impeccable services and foods. Highly recommend.

I visited H4C for Mother's Day brunch with my daughters last weekend. What a treat!
The food is wonderful, the space is bright and comfortable, and the service is lively and friendly.
There was a three-course menu that included homemade breads, donuts, and brioche with various jams and spreads (chocolate, blackberry, orange and dulce de leche to name a few), a choice of main courses from the regular brunch menu, and a dessert. Everything was delicious, well balanced, and beautifully presented. Yum!
I had mentioned when I reserved that one diner didn't eat gluten, and to my delight they offered homemade gluten-free breads and fritters, and even a gluten-free English muffin for the poached eggs. Brilliant!
I'm looking forward to trying out the dinner menu and the patio!
Impeccable food; dishes a pleasure to both palate and sight. Service above reproach: attentive, personable and friendly. Beautifully appointed space in a luxurious stone edifice. A neighborhood gem one should not forego.

I came with a friend. We had both been before with 2 other friends, one of whom died, so we were mainly coming in remembrance of her. The brunch menu is limited, maybe 5 or 6 items only. I opted for the veal eggs benedict. Also had a latte. My friend had an omelet (not on the menu but a special), a cocktail, and a coffee. I liked the eggs bennie but had the mushrooms on the side, since I'm not a fan. The fiddleheads under the poached eggs and over the veal was an inspired touch. I thought it was a nice meal but not at twice the price for eggs benedict. Likely I won't return. My food group may come here for dinner one night, which seems to be a choice of 2 table a dotes at $75 for the smaller and $125 for the greater. Pricy for St. Henri, imo.
Un de nos restos montréalais favoris: le chef Dany Bolduc utilise de nombreux ingrédients locaux, est un as des légumes, sans pour autant s'y limiter, il est hyper créatif; ses présentations sont savoureuses et recherchés. Belle crowd branchée, pour ceux que ça intéresse... C'était la première fois qu'on y allait pour le brunch (sam. et dim.) et c'était extraordinaire! Les menus dégustation du soir sont aussi fabuleux!!! Mon seul bémol, c'est le niveau sonore élevé. J'y ajouterais des voiles acoustiques... C'est ma seule plainte! Service très attentionné
It was my first time at H4C and I had been meaning to try it for a while. My only regret is that I did not try it before. The food was amazing. I went for brunch and badly want to go back for dinner. Keep up the great work H4C :-)
The food was original and the sommelier's suggestion for the wine was spot on. Always a treat to have dinner here.

Le meilleur brunch à Montréal. Ça vaut le déplacement. En plus il y a du stationnement. Notre réservation par open table a été très efficace.
