the best afternoon tea in vancouver!!! We have tried 5 + afternoon tea and this one is no doubt our favourite, plus they got live music play + fancy decorations ♥️

We were in for afternoon tea service on a Sunday and it was not too busy. The space is beautiful and the service was perfect. There was even live acoustic music that added value to the already amazing experience!

Great ambiance and service. High tea was a nice experience however we sent back a dish which we were quite surprised at the quality, taste and texture of the crab Benny. The toast base was rock hard, taste of crab was minimum and the greens did not appear fresh. I rarely send a dish back however the dish was unfortunate with the way it was made and delivered to us. HLOUNG did offer to take the item off the cheque which was courteous of the restaurant to do so.

A party of two for their high tea service - the decor and ambience were beautiful, the high tea presentation was even more interesting and pretty, the service was spot-on and the food was good. We enjoyed our time very much and would recommend the high tea to everyone - make sure you take pictures!

Indifferent servers all around.
Only time eye contact staff made with customers seated at bar was when they were asked for another drink. I experienced this treatment myself and witnessed it also.
Drinks not a bargain. Have had better service in dive bars. Not looking to be coddled by bartenders but being attentive to customers needing a drink is not an unrealistic expectation. Would never recommend this establishment. Go elsewhere. Spend elsewhere.

Great spot for patio lounging with fresh food choices. You can actually eat here and stay healthy. Its lovely.
My only request is for a dog station. Since the Bayshore Westin is dog friendly I would have loved a spot to leave my dog where I could still see him.

Everything is good but a little pricey.
I got confused about parking, the hotel doesn't have the parking lot, if you want free parking you need ask the valet park for you.

Visited here for a tea and brunch with my mom and sisters. Great place, food and service! There is not a detail overlooked. Will definitely be back to enjoy more food and cocktails!!

Went for high tea with my mom and my two young children (4 and 6). They were very accommodating and service was excellent. With the patio doors open, we had a superb view of the trees and water. Highly recommend. IMO the best high tea in Vancouver currently, taking into account creativity, value, ambience and service.

Great place that i keep seeing on social! Definitely a picturesque place and the staff were super friendly. Drinks were a little on the expensive side and the afternoon tea was nice. The brunch menu looked great in the end and will come back to try!

Everything was good ..the background music was good ..except that there was a guy playing and singing a lot of old songs on guitar..it was too loud that me and my friend couldn’t hear each other .. 😅

Staff are always friendly and attentive. Happy hour prices are great and the drinks on offer are fabulous. The vibe and atmosphere is chill, stylish and on trend.

Had late afternoon tea. Seating was great. Food is very creative and tasted fresh. However took almost a hour for our food to arrive. Service was not great. Our waitress was walking around serving other people and had no small chat with us or introduce our food.

Great food, you must try the lobster roll. Super friendly staff !!

Servise was excellent!

The oysters were really fresh and tasty. The clams were only acceptable and the shrimps were ok. Crab cakes were a bit expensive for the portion. If you come to this place, you are not looking for value.

Lovely quiet lounge the night we were there with a great outdoor option. I loved the Clam tartine on sourdough with gruyere, pancetta, Manila clams and bechamel. The Crudo kanpachi with blood orange and halibut with yuzu vinaigrette were refreshing. The beef tartare with freshly shaved horseradish was delightfully good. We finished the meal with on the house caramelized white chocolate pots de creme - a smoked sage, chai marshmallow with housemade Graham crust... Yummm ... Our server Curtis is also so attentive to our needs... Thank you for a delightful evening!

Beautiful atmosphere, love the colors and the large fire place in the center of the lounge. Comfortable seating and great service (friendly staff, not too intrusive). Fresh, high quality ingredient, the sandwiches were not dry and desserts were not too sweet. I did not enjoy the Pana cotta but everything else was great! I would definitely go back. I wish they could extend the tea offering to the weekdays :)

My husband had heard about the fantastic cocktail program here so we thought we’d pop in for lunch on a weekday when it should be easier to get a spot. Well the place was empty — and on a gorgeous day too! We were given a fabulous corner table just beside the patio doors. Our server was lovely & attentive without rushing us at all. We each ordered a delicious cocktail and immediately wished we’d cabbed it over so that we could try others.
The food on the other hand was as not as good as we’d hoped. The chilled prawns we’ve certainly had better elsewhere.
Will defs be back for drinks & maybe more prawns but probably not for dinner.

The food was amazing and the drinks were very good. Atmosphere was also great.

H tasting lounge at Happy Hour has a relaxing atmosphere. The lounge is tastefully decorated and well appointed. We were seated first at a table under the A/C vents which turned out to be too cold and we were moved to a table by the fireplace which is very pleasant. I do wish that the hotel retains from using air fresheners because the scent is overwhelming. The Happy hour offering is very limited. We do not drink alcohol and we are allergic to oysters. After many calls to the lounge and escalating to the manager, we were accorded a discount for some cocktails (minus the liquor)and a few food items. We were very pleased that they made this effort even though it required a total of 5-6 calls to achieve this. A small complaint is that we were looking forward to having the crab cakes and we were told that they are sold out. So we had no choice but to order other items. An hour or so later, our server said they have some again. At that time it is the end of the happy hour and we are already full. I am left to wonder why the kitchens would be so unprepared as to run out of crab cakes so conveniently during happy hour. Overall we enjoyed the truffle grilled cheese the most. The clam appetizer served on sour dough bread is a bit too salty. This visit would have been perfect if this lounge would make an effort to coordinate menu changes for guests who have special dietary needs. We had to be very proactive and insistent to have the happy hour menu adjusted for our needs.

Went for high tea to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday. We had given the hostess cake toppers to put on top of the cotton candy bonsai tree. Unfortunately the waitress asked us if we had a cake topper in front of the birthday girl (after finding out whose birthday it was) and ruined the surprise. Other than that, the food was very yummy. All four of our teas however were a little bland.

It is a nice lounge. Good space and nice patio. We liked the music and ambiance but food and service was disappointing

Great location, outdoor patio also now open. Limited menu that is a tad pricey, but overall great place for conversation and also more intimate gatherings.

Our first experience at H Tasting Lounge exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, food, drinks and service were wonderful. The tea service...a work of art! We were especially impressed with the service, warm, helpful and very professional!

There was a singer with a guitar and the mic and amp was WAY too loud I could barely hear my friend next to me talking. Beautiful dishes and the presentation was beautiful as well as the service. The food was not very good. I wouldn’t come back or recommend especially for the price. In my opinion at that price the food should be much better quality

My friend and I went here for the first time for our birthday celebration and it was absolutely wonderful. We were seated in front of the fireplace, which was great on a rainy day. Our server was courteous and quite knowledgeable with the numerous tea selection. She made us feel comfortable and we did not feel rushed with our time spent there. Thank you very much for making it a special and memorable day for us!

the tea was not as nice as others i have been too. it could be nice, but didnt quite hit the right notes. it didnt help that my tea was not boiled when they made it, so wasnt good and got cold very quickly. they did remake it, but should have known better if they are serving a 'tea' service at that price.

Must go to. Quiet and on the seawall in a calm relaxing neighbourhood. Amazing live music! Drinks amazing. Happy hour amazing and even the waiters work together to make sure you’re being taken care of!! Thank you to our server Kurt, we will be back! Even the dinnerware is luxurious. Instagram worthy ☺️

I would recommend this place but the food value for the Valentine’s Day was not worth it at all!!!!!

It was a very nice dining experience. Food and service was great.

Had Dine-Out Vancouver menu which was delicious (especially the pork wellington!) and good value. We also enjoyed their cocktails. The decor was unique and service was excellent.

For sure will come for Afternoon Tea Set or Brunch
