The corn fritters were raw inside - the fried chicken was sub par on top of watery mashed potatoes.
The salmon tasted old, no freshness at all and was served upside down.
The banana pudding tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days.
High prices, poor value.
Also, I watched the cook eating behind the line and taking selfies of himself with the food and even caught him sticking his finger into a container of sauce and then tasting it. It was disturbing.
I came all the way from the Westside to try this spot and was severely disappointed.
We went here for DineLA and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and the service superb. This was a gem of a place and we will definitely return!
Very cute interior and loved the mimosa and Bloody Mary flights! Perfect for brunch.
Food was amazing
Trendy cafe situated beside the lobby of the H Hotel. Our party of 3 were seated inside overlooking the patio. There is great lighting from the large window while having your meal. Service was quick to take down and serve our orders. The classic breakfast sandwich was like a fancier version of a mc d’s breakfast sandwich. Brioche bun and pork sausage patty were a nice touch. One of us tried the eggs Benedict and the classic breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage patty. Their pressed 32 oz coffee was enough for 2 cups. If you need more hot water through it, it would be an additional pressed coffee. The highlight of the meal seemed to be the brick hash brown. It was very crispy and went well with ketchup. Really enjoyed the meal and experience. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a nice place to sit and eat with friends.
The service was great. The server who helped us was very friendly. This would be a place where I feel I can go more often.
H Cafe never disappoints!!! Such a cute place and very reasonable prices. The biscuits are not like a regular biscuit and are YUMMY!!! The Bloody Mary is also delicious. I made a reservation just to be safe because they can get busy with large groups but you can totally just go and will likely not have to wait.
Nice spot for a casual brunch!
Great place for meeting with friends
Amazing staff and service, good drinks, great music, and really fun ambiance!
H Café was a wonderful experience. The food was on point, the service was excellent and the ambiance was fun. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and will be going back many times more. The mimosas flight and the Nutella French toast were dreamy and my friends food look delish.
What a find!
In the heart of Ktown attached to a Hotel this little treasure has a lot to offer. Great drinks and an sportsmen’s of small plates, salads burgers, sandwiches and heartier dishes. There is something for everyone. We were a party of 6 on our way to a show at the Wiltern, they were accommodated got us out with plenty of time to arrive at our next destination!
Parking is available in the Hotel lot, you have to get a ticket and put in your window. After 8:00pm valet parking is available.
Would absolutely go back!
Food took so long
Food was a bit slow to cook but tasted good and the place had a nice ambience! Prices were good too. I would recommend this place!
This place has good food, and the servers and clientele are attractive and hip. Its a bit busy for brunch but could use more people later in the day. I hope it gets them.
best dishes - grain bowl, biscuit, brussel sprouts (a bit too vinegary, though)
good dishes - salmon w/carrot puree (too small for price), salmon and cream cheese on bagel ( add some green to plate)
ok dish - onion rings, not sufficiently lucious
The vibe of this place was great, I've been here two times once for brunch which was one of the best brunches I've ever had and once late night at 2:20 for chicken and waffles which was on another level.
