All I can say is yummy. Every bite is delicious. Great oysters and love those Buffalo chicken skins. We enjoyed holeman and finch in Atlanta and glad they now have an outpost in Asheville. Thanks for 2 great meals in 2 days.

Great place that is much more than burgers! The food was exceptional and the menu was varied enough that we both were able to find multiple items that we loved. The in-house made condiments made the meal even more of a treat.

We love H&F Burger! The food is excellent and they have the best pickles! The cheeses are great and love that you can order them individually, only complaint is that we always run out of toasted baguettes, it feels cheap and I think they should just give you more. Eclectic music, sleek vibe, good drink options. I don't feel like many, if any, other restaurants downtown are this good of a value. This place is underrated, definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night at H&F burger. Went in with husband and 13 y/o daughter. Loved the pimento cheese appetizer....pickles were great. Husband loved the bone marrow app. Delicious veggie burger, fun desserts. Would recommend! Great service too.

Food was amazing! We had 2 of the cheeses which were both great. I had a turkey burger and my husband had a regular burger which were both so tasty. They even make their own ketchup! Delicious!

I saw this place on Open Table and thought it would be a good place for a late lunch after the outlets. Christa was our server and she did a super job taking care of us. The food was great, and the burger is well worth the visit. Fries, onion rings and potato skins were all freshly made and perfectly cooked. The beer list is full of great local beers (we had the Valdez Coffee Stout - paired well with lunch) and they have specialty cocktails created by their staff. If you don’t want to stand in line at the usual places, definitely come here! We certainly will!

Everyone we encountered was helpful, professional, and friendly. We enjoyed everything: the food & the casual, upbeat vibe. Sure the hamburger was classically delicious but the turkey burger was also delightful. Ordering both the French fries and onion rings is a guilty pleasure you won’t regret as both are perfectly prepared- hot and crispy on the outside but tender and tasty on the inside! I recommend drinking one of their great cold beers with the hot food but then choosing among their boozy shakes to top off the meal. This is not the place to save calories but to savor them. And definitely check out their Sunday Date Night opportunity!

I had the Wagyu filet and my boyfriend had a burger with a fried egg and bacon added. Everything was amazing! Strong drinks, juicy meat, perfectly cooked fries. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town again.

H&F Burger was good, but they should change their name since there is only one type of burger on the menu. The rest is chicken and oysters. They also offer a trio of deviled eggs appetizer that was delicious, composed of 3 types of deviled eggs. The craft cocktails are amazing and it was nice to see a domestic beer on the menu amidst the local fare. COVID practices made you feel safe and healthy. Nice job.

Linton Hopkins’ famous “H&F burger” began at Holeman and Finch Public House as a special. From this cheeseburger, H&F Burger was born. While we love the burger, we also love oysters, bone marrow, pimento cheese and so many other items. The deviled eggs are one of my personal favorites! We are very dedicated to the safety of our guests and community. I hope to see you again soon!

H&F in Atlanta has always been a favorite. This place does not disappoint. The original burger is AMAZING! The booze milkshakes and cocktails pair well and are expertly made. Service was a little slow in the beginning, then picked up shortly after drinks were delivered. Highly recommend, 12/10!

Last minute and late night date night. They seated us at 830 and had our burgers and drinks out in good time. The burgers are phenomenal! So good we are going back next day with the kids!

Hands down the best cheeseburger and I don’t say that lightly. Their meat blend, homemade brioche bun, and homemade condiments and pickles create a masterpiece. Before, the only place to get this burger was in Atlanta but apparently the owner’s sister lives in Asheville and decided to open one here. Soooo happy she did!!

The website is great and made me excited to make a reservation. Unfortunately when we arrived it wasn't as trendy and cool. The servers seemed overwhelmed and therefore were not super welcoming. We ordered a cocktail, the Apostrophe (as mentioned on the website as the house cocktail that each bartender had their own version - super cool, right?!?! but....) our server said "I don't know what that is?" When we mentioned the website she rolled her eyes and said " we haven't done that for years" Yikes! So old website...got it! That explained a lot to me about how I was feeling about the place. It used to be a loved and well taken care of restaurant that has now been neglected..
My husband ordered the large gnocchi. Several minutes later we were told there wasn't enough for the large unless we were willing to wait an extra 10 minutes. We said we were okay with that. Unfortunately hindsight is 20/20. We should have taken the hint and ordered something else. What he got was all sauce and if there was gnocchi in it, we couldn't find it.
I got the burger and fries and it was excellent. So there was that.
We wanted to apologize your experience with us. We have been understaffed and incredibly busy but that is no excuse for the service or food you received. We strive to be the best but we definitely missed the mark on your visit. We would love to speak with you about your experience. Definitely try the deviled eggs. They’re cheap and something diff than your typical restaurant.
