it was good the waiter was nice the food was good and the experience was relatively cheap ...good time

Great experience, I have been to this restaurant in other locations. We had the showgun menu. It was great. And the service great.

My go to love gyu and their staff

It seems the white plains location is severely understaffed. The staff are too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off to even acknowledge the new patrons as they arrive. Bar drinks took FOREVER conveniently during happy hour because no one was attending the bar. It seemed very unfair that we were even subject to a time limit when we spent more time waiting than actually consuming food or drinks. The bill was ridiculously high for the all can eat and it DOESN’T seem like that part of the menu is very organized at all. All in all, this was my first and LAST time ever ordering from the all you can eat menu again. I’ll just stick to simplicity and leave the drinks to another spot that can handle the business.

The food was amazing, I will defend come back to here at this location.

It was my birthday on the 11th and my daughters birthday on the 19th I had a great time and so did she it was a pleasure dining in your restaurant. Great quality service with excellent food thank you very much.

Everything about the night was great except there wasn’t really any organization at the front door for people walking in and those who already had reservations. By the time i got there, there were already people in the small entrance waiting and i didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable by just walking into that small space due to trying to adhere to social distancing. Another group of girls walked inside in front of me saying “we have a reservation” but so did I. After they checked in, i did the same seeing as how that was the only way to check in, in that small entrance. The group of girls became irritated with me after i checked in for no reason at all and seemed to want to get a ruse out of me, fighting their way to the front Anytime they saw space in the front entrance to move closer to the host stand. I ignored them because it was my birthday and i wasn’t trying to ruin it. In the end we did get seated first because our reservation was before theirs which they didn’t seem to like very much but i didn’t like that the host felt the need to ask them if it was ok if they sat us first seeing as how not only was I there before them but my reservation was before them too. We DESERVED to be sat first, she didn’t need to ask them permission.

The food and the drinks were fantastic as usual. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was the pork belly. Other than that, everything was great

during this Covid pandemic, this has been the best restaurant to dine in. They are precautionary measures are impeccable. I felt completely safe dining at this establishment. I was really blown away by their level of service with having this pandemic as a challenge and very different from what any of us have ever experienced.

not only was the level of service top notch, but the food & drinks were great as well!!!!

honestly, this might be the only restaurant that I would really dine in during this pandemic.

TERRIBLE!

For a Yakiniku restaurant, the Beef quality (Regular Short Rib Kalbi) was extremely poor. Inconsistent cuts and sinew everywhere. Are you kidding me? That’s your most popular dish!
It was abundantly clear there was absolutely zero care given to presentation as well. 4 portions of “Kalbi” just weighed and thrown onto a plate.
Arguably the worst beef quality I’ve experienced at a restaurant.
Service was extremely slow and inattentive.
Fried Garlic Rice was an embarrassing excuse for this classic dish.
Corporate is doing a Poor job training their staff.
Before settling the $160 bill for 2 and leaving, I asked our server how long he’d been at GuuKaku and to my surprise, he replied 5 years.
I will not go back.

Gyu-Kaku continues to be one of my favorite restaurants with its incredible atmosphere. The food is great and the meat is cooked to your liking. It is perfect for family, friends or for a couples date night.

My family had so much fun bbq'ing and the food was delicious.

Food is delicious. Servers are knowledgable and attentive. Reservations are required, check-ins are performed at the door and safety signs and sheets are abundant.

Lousy service and poor ambiance. I thought it would be like regular Japanese BBQ but I was more fast food. Took 20 minutes to get my son water.

We had a great time at Gyu-Kaku White Plains. We had a reservation for a large group and they sat us down right away. The server was extremely patient with us, especially because our grill kept going out so we had to alert him of that but they’re upgrading all the grills per the manager. Great customer service, good value during happy hour, and a good ambiance for a birthday celebration. An overall good experience!
