Great concept. As it was our first time, we were hoping for a better explanation on how to use the grill and how to best handle the raw meat.
It was our our first time there and they explained everything to us and were very helpful. Really fun and delicious food!
Food is Nice
Great experience, food quality was good. Large portion for each person
I’ve been here many times and tonight I brought my Ukrainian boyfriend there. He liked everything: from the food to the vibes of the restaurant. Also we went early so we enjoyed the happy hour discount. I recommend people to book earlier so as to secure a table!
Amazing food as always. Always leave feeling like it was a great meal.
perfect service and great food
Great food and wonderful service, our server Ivy was very lovely!
Girls night service and food was 10/10
Of course GREAT Japanese type BBQ !
Service was excellent and the food/experience was definitely amazing. Will be back !
Food was great! Service was terrible. No one came to check on us once we got the food. No refills for our drinks and had to wave down another server TWICE for our bill.
Awesome service and great food. Would come back again!
great place to go for group meals
I was at restaurant at 1850 and manager david told me I am too early so I had to leave.
Overall all it was good
Great food, good service and at a very reasonable price.
The table was a bit sticky but that was the only minor downside.
Good service and food. It's a fun place. We have a great time.
Food price had gone up due to COVID and the restaurant appears understaffed. But still delicious and our server Claire served us well.
This was my b-day gift from my tween son, to have date night with his mom.( even though not too cool to hang with mom right now lol)
Best time ever, we are Japanese, and love yakiniku.
Gyu-Kaku foods are great, service are great, and at the end of the meal, they gave us surprise birthday sweet treats for no cost. We both chat a lot and had a absolute bonding time together.
It was easy to make resos through open table, thank you open table and Gyu-Kaku 🙇🏻♂️
We were told once we got there that last call was at 9pm so we only had 10 minutes to order and we were literally kicked out at 10pm. The food was good though.
The food was perfect as always
But the staff weren’t friendly at all
We waited 10 minutes to be seated even tho the restaurant was literally empty
So tasty and fresh. Pair a tall cold Sapporo with any of their combo meals and you are set. I can eat until I’m full here and never feel weighed down or over-indulgent. Just delicious, whole food.
Don’t book 8:15 pm dining. Service was terrible. Wasn’t seated until 8:30pm and then was told we only had a half hour until last call for food and drinks even though they close at 10pm. Waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu at all and didn’t offer alternative suggestions when the first 3 things I tried to order were unavailable. Water was never refilled. Was there for a birthday and had to remind them about the birthday dessert even though we put it in the reservation and then he didn’t ask me if I wanted dessert too and it was after last call so the birthday boy was eating his dessert alone. The table beside us didn’t seem too happy either, and when they left the waiter brought over a dirty stinking garbage can from the kitchen to clear off their table and then left it there right beside us for 10 minutes while we were still eating. All in all disappointing for close to $150. We felt super rushed like they were turning off lights at 9 even though they close at 10.
The restaurant was clean and the food was really good. I would definitely drop by again.
So many order mistakes that the server was making.
Nice relaxing meat sizzling experience.
We requested a quieter table location and we got it, which is great.
But the seat is quite uncomfortable when the depth of the seat is wide and it's only solid wood behind, so it was too far away and too hard to lean up against. The booths are better, seat-wise, but not necessarily as private. Another time, our experience was completely ruined by an obnoxious guy sitting at the table directly next to us, separated only by a piece of plexi, which didn't stop his voice from carrying. The seating layout is a bit all over the place.
Food was excellent as usual. This time, there were no missing items. Usually we try to order something that is out of stock.
The waiter was a bit unsure when we asked some technical questions about points accumulation. He eventually got the answers for us, but only with me asking again. Better training on the tech side would be helpful.
The window screens need replacing and the windows were absolutely filthy. Lots of holes in the black privacy sunscreen, and the dirtiness of the windows detracted from the experience a bit.
Overall, the food was consistent, and that's why we keep coming back.
A traditional Japanese greeting awaits you as you are ushered to your table. Friendly attentive service. Food was a bit pricy, but overall good value. I would dine here again.
Set menu was great value.
However, bring bill to the table we haven't even finish half of the drink or never been ask to order more food. It was just past 1 hour. not a great experience. We didn't ask bill, we were still having conversation.
We felt rush to leave. Moved to another restaurant
Great food and great service. A little disappointed we didn’t get the seating we want. Would recommend this place for good food and service
Tasty but too small portions of meat for this price
Good food, reasonable price and friendly service.
Food was great, service was great and music was awesome. Restaurant could use some Air conditioning with all the grills
Service and food both are great
Excellent food and serivices
Claire was the best server! So sweet and helpful ❤️
