We love this place. We sat outside this last visit. Only comment I’d the grill wanted to fall off its tabs.
Everything was good except for the layout of the table on one side of the room. The problem with the layout is that when we sat down our neighbor table where is loud and made it hard for us to communicate and we could hear everything you’re talking about because they spoke loudly I would turn the tables so that when you turn on the stove The dial would be facing the aisle and our backs would be to the neighboring table.
Love coming here with my family, Also get to earn and redem rewards up to $25 off. Super happy hour it's where it's at.
Great atmosphere, amazing food and fairly price.
Good find. Fun dinner for the family.
Overall service was great, our server was very attentive and gave great customer service. We were very please and enjoyed the food.
Our server was amazing so friendly and attentive. The food delicious as always. Can’t wait to go again
The food and service is ALWAYS outstanding. My family LOVES this restaurant.
Hostess was rude and unfriendly and the meat was way too salty and drenched in soy sauce. Not even close to Japanese or Korean standards.
Food came quickly. Servers were responsive and available. No waiting - table was ready when we arrived.
Making a reservation, especially on a holiday, helps. We were seated right away which meant we could enjoy our visit right away. This is a popular restaurant.
Although, I waited for five mins before I have been seated for reservation done online. At first, I was dissatisfied because no one acknowledged us. After we have been seated, we had a great service & food was good. Overall good experience.. would definitely go again.
Good food nice atmosphere. Little pricey for what you get but really need to get to cook your own food and always a good time. Service is really good. Definitely will be back as I've been there a few times already
Hostess needs to chose words more carefully. She told me she would CALL when the table was ready but never got call. Just a text to check in with the hostess which is what I did already so I was confused. One of the texts came as soon as we went to take a short walk. The location of our table was right at the door so we kept having people crowd around us while we dined. No privacy really. Not like other tables. For having a reservation, we should have had a better table location. Other than that, our server and food were excellent!
Always a fun experience at Gyu
Mother's day lunch was a breeze with a reservation. The service was great! It might be a yearly tradition from now on.
Quality meat best service
Several places of the seat cover is broken , the metal fire pit has a hole makes the heat quiye uneven....The meat was ok, but too salty. The waitress provided a very good service.
Nothing went well. The grill only 1/2 worked. Service was slow and disorganized, the food just had no flavor. Worst part was the rice was terrible. It was old, stale and hard. No one touched their rice.
It was a pre-birthday celebration!!
Our waiter was everything so sweet
We had a great time! Left stuffed.
The meat was thinly sliced and pricey. The service was slow. We keep calling the waiter.
Amazing first Japanese BBQ experience!
Had a lovely affordable dinner with the gals & got to catch up on a lot over good food. Just had to make sure we didn’t let our steak burn 😊
Our waitress Nicole was excellent! We all 4 have dietary restrictions & she came back after we ordered to make sure that what we ordered could be made to our needs. The food was excellent but would advise them to cook the veggies b4 serving as they took so long to cook in the tin foil. Plenty parking. You can rsvp online at the web site. You can also join a loyalty program that saved us $$! They also offer all you can eat options!
Walking into the restaurant was so welcoming , we got sat down waiting for about 5 minutes until a waitress came by turned on the grill left it lopsided and left our table without saying one word. We put the grill down as it should be because the flame was a bit high that our four year old could feel the heat. She comes back five mins later telling us that the grill needed to be placed like that because we’re under an ac vent and quickly began to walk away. I called her and asked if we can know who our waitress was because we had already been waiting. She explained it was her and walked away!!!
Waited five minutes for her to walk by and asked for the unlimited menu , brought it and finally asks us what we wanted to drink . I told her we were ready to order but she left to get the drinks . We saw another table and asked to change our seating to a different table. Changed and got out ordering on . Different servers were attending us , she wasn’t really coming to check on us and for couple times we saw her sitting in a booth with another customer carrying a long conversation while were waiting to get refills . Took so long we decided to go home because we were just tired of waiting around another server gave us our check paid and left .
Worst experience ever I thought the service would be better since they’re located in Valencia. 😞
(I have pictures and videos of the poor service)
First time there and I was very impressed. Food was excellent and staff was excellent as well.
Super yummy as always and our server Stephanie was adorable and super sweet. Always a good experience at this location!
Food, Service was amazing... overall, Outstanding! Thank you!
Food was. Great service was fast...i loved the beef.
The couple next to us were drunk and obnoxious. It would have been nice if someone addressed this
Service was awesome! Food great ! But I got charged 3 times .... still pending to clear this :(
I booked this table based on my experience in New York, but the restaurant was nothing like Guy Kaku in New York. We didn’t stay, we went to Wokcano instead.
We needed a place for a family reunion including 2 children. The food was good and well all had a fun time.
Our first time and we enjoyed very much. We will return again.
Service was poor, food was not the unusual flavor.
Soooo yummy! House salad, garlic noodles, and skirt steak is a must! The steak was so soft! And a nice touch with the s’mores at the end. We will definitely return!
I have been coming to Gyu Kaku for years ! I am saddened to say that this dining experience was by far the worst I have ever experienced. The waitress’ listening skills were horrible. Had to fix our order 3 different times. Didn’t ask clarifying questions when placing orders for our food. Was not attentive at all. The person who took our bill stood over me as I was I was signing the credit card slip and as I was contemplating on how much to leave a tip just stood there making me feel VERY uncomfortable . The waitress and hostess on this specific day and time are not a viable asset to Gyu Kaku .
