Food and service are always good. Prices however, seem to go up every couple months. It used to be a great value. Now not so much. The lunch combo is a great value but any time outside of lunch can get pricey.

Came to celebrate my brother's birthday, love the happy hour prices and lunch menu option! The sukiyaki bibimbap rice was terrific, easily my favorite dish at Gyu-Kaku. I will most definitely go back for other occasions or even for lunch/late night dining.

New female managers are attentive and listen to customers food improvement. Because of this I started coming back more often as a choice vs others nearby.

As always, Gyu-Kaku did not disappoint. I’ve been going for years but my date had never been. He loved it (as does everyone I know who goes) and can’t wait to go back. The food was great and the waiters recommendations were spot on!

Awesome service. The food came out in a timely manner so that we didn’t have 10 plates just waiting. Everyone in the place seemed to love their job and willing to help. The manger and general manager were both there so it was nice to see them working and interacting with customers which makes for a great place just like Gyu-Kau!

Cook your own dinner! So much fun. Happy Hour is great. Don't have to get the most expensive thing on menu--beef and chicken good!

We go here often but the last few times our server has been terrible. Saturday night we waited almost 30 minutes for our first dish to come out which isn't at all fair since we are allotted a certain amount of timd.

Gyu-kaku was a go to spot for a date the first time i tried it. Loved it so much that i ended up taking my friends and family there. Their meat is very good quality, and the setting is cozy enough to feem
Comfortable in. The best thing about this place is their staff. They attend to my every need every time i go. They also take care to replace your grill top before it gets too dirty.
Their takiyaki appetizer is very good, would reccomend.

The food is pretty good overall, but nothing to hype about. Personally, I find the marinade a bit too heavy or sweet on some meats, but nothing tasted bad. The real winner for me is the bang for your buck: a single $60 meat set served 3-4 people and left us stuffed!

Very delicious and worth the cost. We ordered the meat lovers option and it was very filling for the price and the cuts of meat were also well seasoned.

Gyukaku does not disappoint when it comes to good food and good service. You can cook the meat to your liking. Extensive menu. The noise level of the music is too loud as we could not hear each other across the table. There is a difference between energetic and just plain noisy.

Always great food I've never had anything from the menu I didn't like. AYCE options and Happy Hours. Bring your appetite and try something new....The wait staff is friendly and fast never a dull moment. Very loud so if you're looking for quite wrong place to come. But this is a fun place so make sure you're in the right mood when you come in no long faces....

My son, husband and I had a great time at Gyu-Kaku Torrance on Friday. We all chose from the $29 dineLA special menu & were able to try a number of new dishes that way. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. We were stuffed by the end of the meal, which included 2 Smores each, and had to take a lot home. Very friendly and hard working wait staff. They forgot to serve us the appetizers so packed them up for us. Honestly, if the waitress hadn't caught the error, we wouldn't even have noticed. Very fun and enjoyable place.

Great for groups. You cook your own food on the grill but they have premade appetizers. Go during Happy Hour to save a few bucks on some of the appetizers and meats. I always finish off with the Garlic Shrimp Noodle.

I had been here before, this last time, made me think we aren't going back for while. IF we ever go back. before being seats we were reminds 3 or 4 times that we had a 2 hour limit on the table. The hosts were not very nice. Even though we were only two the sat us in the middle of the restaurant, which is one big table divided up into smaller ones. I asked if they had a different table available and they said no, because they were "expecting several large groups" I then noticed at least 3 or 4 empty booths around us, that stayed empty for most of the time we were there. The food was a different story. They kept forgetting things we ordered, until we would ask for them again. It will be a while before we go back
