This location never disappoints .. friendly staff, great food !

Awesome staff. Our server Brian was very polite and helpful. He got our food on the table very fast. His customer service was above and beyond.

Inexperienced waitresses not knowing how to serve food or how to explain the post Covid menu to regular patrons. Instead of posting a menu that was readable, we had to scan our cell phones to acess the menu and then i had to read a tiny menu. That's not a dinning experience. And Where's the "all you can eat" packages? Not coming back for a way long time.

I love the food and also is very healty and the service is very good.

This was our first time back to Gyu-Kaku since the pandemic. I must say the food was excellent. The service was amazing, and I totally felt safe with all of the measure set in place. We will be back again very soon!

Excellent service and quality of food

This evening’s dinner was the same as it always is at this location and that is outstanding !!! The food, service, and consistency is unswervingly superior to many of its other locations.
We have a basic order but like to change it up sometimes.
The house salad and dressing is a staple. Recently, they changed their sauce on the spicy pork to a umakara sauce but still has a nice little kick. The pork belly in their new spicy sauce is also a good choice. The filet in tari is very tender. We just switched from the Kobe Kalbi to the prime Kalbi and it does not disappoint as it melts in your mouth. The Japanese pork sausage is another favourite. The service is always attentive while it does not crowd you either. The management also understands your concerns and cares deeply about your dining experience. Enjoy !!

We have been several times and this time was not enjoyable. It took maybe 10 minutes for our server to come over for the first time. Finally when we were ordering, our first server was interrupted by another server to let us know that they were taking over, and rest away without taking my entire order. Th food also took about 20 minutes for any items to arrive. The bibimbap came premixed instead of being presented at the table, like I watch them do at other tables. The meat in general we ordered was low quality cuts. The hirami miso has several pieces that were extremely gristly and fibrous. The kalbi garlic was slopped on the plate without intention like usual. Service in general was very inattentive and short. Overall, it seems like a lot of normal things that I used to appreciate over the years about Gyu Kaku- friendly service, grill changes, a moist towelette at the table, clean restrooms, nice presentation have all been overlooked during our visit tonight.

Terrific food ! Everything is so yummy. Brought some friends & they loved it. They said they’ll be back w/their family & friends.

A lot of lunch specials on the menu, like their point reward app. The quality of their food is very good.

Me and my wife have been going to this location for several years. Always great service. If there are ever any issues, management is right on top of it. Kudos!

The bigger the group, the more fun it is! DineLA opened me up to this place and I will definitely be coming back. Our waiter checked on my table frequently and seemed very attentive and interested in us enjoying our experience. The food was so well marinated and seasoned, that there is no way that you could leave unsatisfied.

We went for an early lunch. Thankfully we had made reservations as it was busy. The service is always excellent and it was less expensive since it was the lunch menu. It is always a bit loud here so if you are looking for quiet go someplace else. Good food, good company and a good price.! 👍

Great service, great food, but bathrooms could use some attention.

Always an incredible meal here. Our server was great but the poor guy was dealing with a 20 top plus 4 more tables of 4 like ours.

We were seated promptly and our server took our order immediately. It’s just disappointing that a lot of items we wanted on the menu were out of stock. Our server was nice to explain and apologetic for the missing items.

Food is always great here but today it took a while to get our food. The last order of meats took so long to come so we just cancelled & ordered our dessert instead. Second server is friendlier, polite & super attentive. He checked on us all the time & made sure our needs are taken care of.

Overall experience is not that Great but also not bad but it could have been better like our previous visits.

The woman that seated us was very rude and the service was horrible. My family and I come here often and it was my sons birthday and everything was just horrible

Our rice was stale and the food was ok. My nephew ordered garlic noodles with shrimp but just received garlic noodles and he was fine. But another female server brought the noodles with shrimp and made us feel bad. Very loud and my bibimbap was ok.

The waitress got our order wrong and also forgot our appetizer. They serve more than enough, so we just cancel the order, but we did end up eating something other than we order and paid for it.

Went here for lunch after going here 7+ times at night. Completely different experience. Pretty much left alone by our waiter(s). Had to ask for everything. Not dining at lunch here again. Dinner is 5 stars.

Service was a little lackluster compared to what it usually is.

We eat here at least three times a month. The food quality and flavors are excellent! The service is consistently upbeat and exceptional. They are “on it” as far as clearing dirty plates and accommodating guest requests. We look forward to going back and trying new items. Everything on the menu is delicious!!
