We have been to this location numerous times and it has been ok compared to the others. For some reason this location has difficulties with the timing of the food being brought to the table. We waited around 30 min for 3 fried rices and garlic noodles. The vegetables were cold by the time it did come out. In addition, 2 people from our party ordered 4 meats and the waiter assumed we wanted the value course and added that to our bill. Once we realized that we did not order any of things included in the Value Course we brought it to his attention and requested he remove it. He was also not the best waiter. He wasnt attentive at all. We LOVE Gyu-Kaku but will avoid this location in the future.

I love this place. Second time being here! Prices are pretty decent! Food is always delicious! I’ve only been here for the Japanese bbq twice! Staff is also amazing and friendly! I will be honest, I’ve had better kimchi. Their kimchi tastes a bit weird to me but I still ate it! But besides that their food is reallllly goood! Will be back again soon!

The host sat us (a party of 4) at a table for 2 and the proceeding to repeat (4x) the maximum seat time was an hour and 15 minutes. When we asked for a bigger table, the staff told us no because a reservation of six will be there shortly….that party of six was three men. Hmmm.

The taste and the quality is much better in copper square. Gyukaku is my fav restaurant and prolly been to cooper square one 40 times. This branch was the 3rd time and I can guarantee there were missing ingredients and the food was very bleh and tasteless

As a frequent guest of Gyu-Kaku, as pretty as this location is with the atrium the vibe is much different than the 44th Street location. I don't know if they were short staffed last night but it just seemed to be that service was not as important and that they felt like they were going to make money no matter what because the food. The girls at the front desk seemed disinterested, and the waitress just seemed overworked and weeded. Will always come back to the franchise but probably not this location.

Cooking small pieces of food on the grill in the middle of the table can be fun when there are only 2 guests. Otherwise, you battle for grill space. As this is Asian cuisine, rice noodles should be on the menu. We waited far too long for our brown rice to arrive.

The service is attentive and they make wonderful recommendations. My kids love the experience and the s’mores for dessert. The food is flavorful and lots of options to choose from. Our favorites were the secret pot flank steak that they grilled for us on our table and cut into pieces, beef sukiyaki bimbibap and shrimp ají. A good alternative to Korean BBQ in a more convenient and less crowded location.

Delicious food and cocktails. Nice service and ambience. I hate the idea of a 90 minute limit, but I get it. Service is fast so it wasn't a problem.
