Gyu-Kaku - Miami Ratings and Reviews
This place was great. My wife and I had the premium all you can eat. At first, I was a little sour that it was taking so long to get a plate of raw meat out to us considering the buffet has a time limit of 90 mins from the first order. But once we received our first plate, the others just came rolling out. Every single plate we ordered was great and we were more than stuffed before we ran out of time. I also loved that they recommend how long each item should be cooked. Would come again. great experience. (just a note, due to the nature of the experience, it can get a little hot in front of the fire. Make sure to wear something light.)
First time going to Gyu-Kaku was indescribable! We will definitely be going back again it was our 1year anniversary and what I like most is it’s more private we had our own booth and grill😌 We order Gyu-Kaku ($70plan) which was fantastic and perfect for two, maybe 3 can eat. Our waiter was Jesus and he was also amazing and gave us exceptional service.
We did not know what to expect. We dined early (Happy Hour), and the clients were dressed like they had just left the pool/beach. The server was super helpful, and very patient with us “old folks” as we tried to figure out the program. The experience was fun, but the “Kobe style” beef fell far short on quality. It was “chewy” at best. In all, it was a “different” experience, and fairly priced, but we would not recommend or go back to this restaurant. The fried rice was the highlight of the meal. Amazed that they had Clos Apalta on the wine list!
On Saturday afternoon the service was too slow if at all.
Burner grid was never replaced.
Some items we orderen never arrived but appeared in the bill.
Removed without questions, but if you check.
We still like it, but strongly suggest service to be seriously improved during busy hours.
Always great food and service. Only advice is to not seat to the immediate left of the hostess. The vents are not great and the air vents make it uncomfortable. The smoke sticks around and the fire stays to one side making it hard to cook. The front and far back are perfect. Always have a great time.
Great food, but customer service is horrible. Firstly, the hostess was rude on the day of our visit. Then our waiter seemed really nice in the beginning, but then he when it was time for us to order, he was rushing us and then pretty much shrugged when we asked any question and didn’t care about anything
