me gusto ka experiencia algo diferente a lo usual, la comida buena, un poco de calor por el fuego
that was the first time for us. We celebrated my husband’s birthday. The stuff were attentive. Our server was Andrea. You are realy lucky to have her in your team she is professional and knows how to treat guest.
It was great. Food was delicious and employees are very nice. I’d recommend to anyone.
The food was delicious. The waiter made a few suggestions that ended up being a great selection of meat. A little disappointed on how long it took for us to place our dinner order. Overall a great experience! Valet parking is $10 if you are dining in, and it is very convenient.
Enjoyed the variety of meats to grill and choice of sauces.
We had a great time! Would recommend to friends. We have been many times.
Horrible horrible service. I ordered 2 $55 all you can eat but food I ordered took 30 min to come out if it ever came at all. The food is awesome but service was the worst. I had 3 different waitresses and they all performed horribly. I left there hungry.
Absolutely amazing food!
The spicy Galbi Bibimbap was fantastic as were the Kobe Galbi short ribs. Great value for the culinary experience.
Service was a bit slow and our grill kept turning off. Once our table was changed everything went great. Food was great, overall a very good value for the money if you get the all you can eat.
I just came back from traveling to Seoul, Korea and was looking forward to having something similar to the Korean bbq I had overseas. I ordered pork belly, harami skirt steak and kalbi for my lunch combo and it was utterly disappointing. The meat could not have been sliced thinner and had a stench to it. The rice was cold when it got to the table and it had dark pieces which looked like scrapping from the bottom of the pan. The side salad was wilted. The tofu soup had an egg that was already hard boiled rather than poached. The tofu was not soft enough for the soup. Overall, I will definitely not come back nor would I recommend this restaurant to any friends/family.
They were missing several good items. It was a Monday and they did not honor the happy hour or Monday specials. It was a holiday so this was a minor inconvience. Water forgot several items. The restaurant was out of a few items and I never got my water glass refilled without asking.
Took my brother for his birthday, totally worth going. We both enjoyed the experience and the customer service was amazing. No complaints what so ever.
We went for our brother's bday and had a great time with all the delicious food being served. We've been to this location before though and often have kind of bad service with people bringing wrong items to our table or missing some. In general, they weren't as bad as our first time ever there. We've been back three times now though because of how great the food is and how much we love Japanese BBQ.
2nd time around and it doesn't disappoint. Food was awesome and the Sunday happy hour was an awesome value!
I made a reservation for a date night and the only thing I requested was for a booth. I arrived on time at 10:30pm and they tried to sit me near a large party half booth/table. They fixed it immediately so I was pleased. This is a great place guys I loved it!
This restaurant is amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Outstanding service and delicious food. I was truly satisfied with my visit.
Great place to go and great food
Me and my mom we on vacation and just wanted good food. We google places and always try to read a few reviews on them before we go. Fast forward, the food was great, the options of prepped meals made sense and were reasonablely prices given the fact that we were in a posh neighborhood of Miami. Two people ate for 95$. We had the meat lovers, spinach and como! The como is not a pina colada, lol but get it anyway. It’s great, but a little light on the liquor. The service was great but since you cook your food at the table be ware they don’t have to visit you as much. Camilla was great she explained the menu to us and recommended options. I could tell she was genuine with her recommendations and when we over ordered she was fine removing and not bring some items for us. Thanks Camilla! Chill atmostphere (maybe I spelled that wrong) gray for date or first meet up! We recommend all the way. Especially if you like meat
If I could put into words how much I loved this place, I would, but I simply cannot! I surprised my boyfriend by bringing him here on his birthday, we did the ultimate all you can eat. Two things that stood out to me 1) Amazing customer service, our waiter Sebastian was great. He was timely with the food and super friendly and helpful. 2) OMG the meats!!!!! We had a favorite, it was a skirt steak with some sauce on it, TO DIE FOR! I've never eaten so much in one sitting, we were full but we kept eating. SO worth it!! We loved it so much that we've told all our closest friends and family members. We have been dying to go back but we need to budget for it first. Thank you for existing. We love you!!!!
From the bottom of my heart and stomach,
I love travel around the world for every Gyu Kaku branch in each country. And I with this one in Miami gets more the Japanese vibes within the menus, ambiance, etc.
Went there to try it out and everything was great from the food to the service and the process where great too. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for something to try.
It was amazing, my kids love it to the point they almost ate our food. We are definitely going again !!!
This was my very first time at a Japanese-style barbecue restaurant and at Gyu Kaku. When I first walked in, the host took me to a table in a more secluded part of the restaurant, which I enjoyed because of the ambiance and calm. Our server was very efficient, attentive, and friendly. After we ordered our meats and started grilling them, our grill kept shutting off every few minutes. We had to constantly flag down our waiter to turn it back on. After about the third time this happened, our server tried to fix the problem but decided it would be better to move us to another table. We were seated in the more noisy part of the restaurant, in a half-booth, half-chair table. I was sitting on the booth part directly underneath the air vent, which started to drip on my shoulder and seat shortly after. My new server was quick to see this happen and mopped up the condensation that collected on the vent. He was also a great server, very fast, and super friendly. He was very apologetic about the vent. After all of those mishaps, we did not receive any discounts for the interesting meal. Overall, our servers were great, it was not their fault that my experience was bad. They were trying their best to make our situation better, but they could not control the broken grill and leaky air vent.
Always great fun
Food was great, service was just a bit slow. Staff seemed confused.
Excellent place. Great vibe and nice service. A little slow but did not distract from the experience.
We really like Gyu-Kaku. We crave the ribs, so we come here fairly often. This time, my hubby’s bone in ribs tasted off...like they were going bad and the restaurant in general is feeling very dirty and greasy...which tends to happen at these bbq places. Please give it a good professional cleaning. My feet were sliding around the bathroom floor from the grease and the menu was very sticky. The service was great. Overall the rest of the food was pretty good. Prolly a 3.5 star review.
I always liked Guy Kaku. It's a great fun to prepare your food. It's great to come with friends. Food and service is great. Not your usual restaurant, it's an experience.
All was good... although I mentioned it was my anniversary...they did not do anything for us. Disappointed
The only thing that felt ackward was that the manager came over when we had finished eating and basically asked us for the table. He offered us a drink at the bar, which we didn’t accept and we just left. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated, but still, that has never happened to me before. I felt embarrassed, because I had invited friends who were visiting from out of town and yes we were talking and catching up.
The Outlaws (upcoming YouTube celebs) loved every bit of this experience here in Miami. The chain is just as great in Beverly Hills as well. I highly recommend to my fellow peers and fans who asked where this was in our vlog.
It was my boyfriends birthday. Our server was John, who took the time to explain everything to us.
Interesting for self Bbq cooking of many kind of meat and food
This one was okay. We’ve been to multiple Gyu-Kaku so have a lot to compare against. Service was so-so. Go at happy hour for the best prices. Place was blasting air conditioning so the food got cold pretty quick.
Our table was a little dirty when we got there and we wiped it up ourselves.
Great place for meat lovers. Friendly and prompt service. Great Bartender. Cook your own meat the way you like. Overall, very pleasant, and not so expensive.
Why I did not received points for dinning in the restaurant?
Came for our anniversary in which I scheduled online. Good experience but was a bit shocked that there was nothing done or aknowledged regarding the anniversary
