The grill was not working well. The fire kept going off and on. We were served not-so-fresh looking sirloin...the color of the meat was partially brown. We asked for a replacement. There was a dust in the beer. Everything went wrong on this visit. I don't think we will go back for a while.
There were couple of foods run out when I ate there on sunday evening, such like angus beef rib, cucumber etc.
But overall it was ok,my friends and I had a good meal there, sever is really sweet!
Great spot for authentic Japanese BBQ. Loved the selections & lunch specials M-F.
As always the food was delicious. We like the fun/playful atmosphere. This is the only Japanese restaurant my husband will go to. He loves grilling the food.
While we waited a bit too long to be seated, the young man that helped us apologized (they were short staffed), did not get defensive and took excellent care of us for the rest of our visit.
My kids love gyu-kaku... wherever we go if there’s gyu-kaku, we must go!!
The service was horrible. The waiter took forever bringing out food. Everything we asked for from our spoons, forks, napkins took forever to get to us. We needed up asking the bus boy to finally get our stuff. The end was the worst part. It took 40 minutes to get our check corrected. Never ever again will I go there
I had a reservation at 9:15 and the restaurant didn’t look super busy. However, our party got seated at 9:45 and finally started eating at 10:00. I didn’t expect to wait for 30 min to be seated
and the AYCE dinner is definitely overpriced. The food was not that impressive. I never recommend this place.
The food was amazing but it was super noisey and couldn’t enjoy our anniversary
The stove kept going off. We had to keep asking waiter to come back to re-lit it. It’s frustrating.
We waited 30 minutes for a table when we got there with a reservation. Thirty more minutes for drinks. They didn’t bring us half of our order but after two hours at dinner we didn’t have time or patience left to wait for them. Absolutely terrible experience. Ruined the birthday party for sure. Didn’t get refills it was a disaster
DO NOT over-order, all-you-can-eat, because you WILL NOT be allowed to take any leftovers home with you. That is my one complaint. You can over-order and find yourself full, and you will have to waste everything you cannot finish. Otherwise, excellent atmosphere, fun way to cook-eat and dinner, service is fast and portions are small but filling.
Mieko is always an excellent server.
My entire family and friends enjoyed my daughter's 16th birthday the food was good and we intend on spending more family moments there.
Brought the family here on a trip to Vegas. We loved it. Better then the stuff on the strip. Staff was friend and atmosphere was fun.
Great service and amazing food. . . .
Great food. Great service. I will go back again soon.
Food was amazing as always, but it was really cold inside
Other than it wasn’t happy hour at the time we ate, everything was great😊
The marinate of the meat were very rich and overpowers the authentic taste of the meat. The grill needs to be changed often or else the meat will taste like gas.
Good thing there’s ice cream and smores for dessert!
I made reservations for my birthday at this restaurant. I do not feel like they were prepared for us even though the reservation was made days in advanced. We had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. We had a party of 11 and one waiter! Our food did not come on time, our table was not bussed so you can imagine what that table looked like. On top of that the restaurant sang happy birthday to other patrons but did not acknowledge mine and it was clearly stated. I was a major supporter of this restaurant but after this disappointing birthday. I will Not be a supporter anymore.
It was very understaffed. We waited for over 30min for our first meat dish to come. Then when our dessert came, we couldn’t even find a waiter to get an extra spoon. The bill took a long time to be processed. I’m not sure why they would staff so little wait staff on a Friday night. This is not the first time this has happened.
2nd time eating here, just as good as the first time. will definitely be back
My daughter's birthday!
Restaurant is deceiving, from the outside it looks like many restaurants in the area inside however it is very chic. We enjoyed their menu and tried many great things at our waiter Erik's recommendation. Our only complaint is we made a reservation and still had to wait a while to be seated.
Their food is very good and my husband and I love coming here for special occasions.
Great service and food, will return
Server was very helpful and nice.
Miko was the best waitress!
I went here with some friends for my birthday while in Las Vegas. The food was really good and I like being able to cook my own food at the table. They bring you a lot of food and I mean a lot. The meat was seasoned nicely and the soup and salad were very tasty. I would definitely return to this spot in the future.
The food and service was great! Our only complaint was that we made a reservation for 7:45 pm and were asked to either wait 45 min for our table or squeeze our party of six into a smaller table. We chose the smaller table, but had difficulty having enough space for the food on the table.
Yoshi our server was outstanding! 5 stars for him!
Fix the rice cooker please. Ever since the all yu can eat came out the rice has been hard and powdery. Please fix it and maybe we will come again
It was an okay experience. Every time we needed a refill on our drinks or wanted to order more the waitress had to be flagged down.
great quality food and good service. Make a reservation prior to dinning and sign up for their rewards program.
I have become a regular at this restaurant. I love the food, atmosphere and service. I have had Toshi as our server a few times but I also want to give recognition to the rest of the staff as everyone is equally motivated and take pride in the high level of customer service. Highly recommend this place. 5 stars !!!
Loved the relaxed feel of this place – like a hip but calm party. I will definitely would return to try more dishes. Discovered this place through a business meetings and went back with my foodie husband for our anniversary. The spicy steak is the best as a lean thin cut of deliciously spiced meat. Would recomment ordering a la carte during happy hours (all days Mondays and Wednesdays, Friday and Saturday for couples) as opposed to ordering the small samplers like their famously delicious but unfilling and expensive Gyu Kaku deal ($60 for 2 people). Tables accomodate large parties up to 10 people - many families and friends were present and dressed up. Dressing up in encouraged, but some showed up in jeans and t-shirts. Service was well-timed and friendly, and the waiter's accent and immigrant work ethic gave everything an even more authentic feel. Food is affordable if you're willing to order a la carte. Loved it. Typically hate Asian food but finally, i have found a place. Friendly to the American taste. Forks are available to replace chopskicks.
Lunch date with my husband on New Year’s Day. We opted for the all you can eat option. Food quality is great, service is good and seems to very much depend on how busy the place is. We go often and it’s one of our go to places when we have visitors.
Had a reservation for Christmas but still waited 50 minutes, hostess and servers seemed very unorganized. They turned anyone without a reservation away and had people wait at the bar but there was no bartender. Also kept a dirty mop out in front of the bar. Took a while to get our food but when we got it, it was delicious.
