   Food was okay service was terrible waiter seem bothered by us had an upset look on her face slow made me basically clean up our table when we was trying to have dessert asking me to hand her every plate and Fork and made us seemed rushed won’t be returning felt very unwelcomed!

   So happy to see more variety of cuisine here in El Paso! Have always hoped they would open one of these here but never thought it would happen! Food was amazing, service was great. Pace of food coming out was great: not too fast or too slow. Reasonably priced! We did the “meat variety” preset for our party of 4 and it was perfect. The right amount of “fullness”. It’s going to be so nice to be able to have this more than once a year!

   From the moment we walked into Gyu-Kaku, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was—spotless tables, sparkling grill tops, and a fresh, welcoming atmosphere that instantly set the tone for a great evening. Our server, Anthony, absolutely knocked it out of the park. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about making our experience top-tier. He walked us through the menu with great recommendations, timed everything perfectly, and made sure we never had to flag him down for anything. His energy and professionalism made a huge difference, and it felt like he actually cared that we had a great time. The rest of the staff was just as welcoming—everyone we interacted with had a smile, from the host to the team checking on our grill. The food, of course, was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and fun to cook at our own pace. Whether you’re new to Japanese BBQ or a seasoned fan, this place is a must. If you’re looking for a clean, high-quality dining experience with amazing service, ask for Anthony—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

   Great service and cuts of meat. Excellent time during the soft opening (new location) in El Paso! The veggie bimbimbap is excellent!

   The food was delicious, but considering it’s a new restaurant the service was slow. They were out of food items from their menu when we placed our order tried to substitute the meat item for a veggie and they said no. The drive from east El Paso to the west side took about 38 minutes so overall not work the drive . It’s good to try it if you’ve never been . I’ve been to several of their restaurants and this was my least favorite venue.

    Excellent food and service. Definitely recommend this restaurant, the food is of great quality and the atmosphere is outstanding.
