So far, I only go to Gyu-Kaku every ten years. I will definitely be coming here in 2028!

The food here was amazing and the fact that we got to cook our own food made it even better. Definitely a night to remember and will be coming back.

Had fun dining here! You cook the food yourself so it's an experience. The restaurant is inexpensive and if you order the pre-determined menu of meat selections.. you really get a good deal!

I’ve been going to GK for 10+ years and my recent visit was by far the worst.

Went here for valentines day. The food was really yummy and you can tell that the meat was fresh. Although pricey, the experience was worth it. The waiters were very helpful and taught you how to cook the meats properly if you didn't know how to already. The drinks were really yummy and we are excited to come back for the happy hour cocktails which are half off.

It was slow getting seated and our order taken but we overheard the hostess say they were transitioning between lunch and dinner services so staffing was a bit off. Otherwise it was great as usual.

My boyfriend and I always find ourselves coming back here for date night and we never regret it . We do always wait a bit when we have reservations but never for long. We always order something different and always enjoy it, the waitress we had was Oy and she was so nice and sweet she even explained some Japanese phrases they say which I thought was really cool, she changed the grill after each meat we grilled and kept checking in on us, I really liked her service. It’s definitely noisy but it’s a popular place and is expected

Loud, crowded, a very young clientele, and fabulous food! Fun cooking our own meal at the table.

Unfortunately my experience at Gyu Kaku was not good. The food tasted good, cooking the meat on the grill was fun and it was very inexpensive. BUT both my boyfriend and I got extremely sick before even making it home that evening. Last time we ate at Gyu Kaku we did not feel well after either but thought we just ate and drank a lot. This time was pure proof that unfortunately we got sick because it is CHEAP FOOD. The pain in my stomach, I cant even describe. Steak for 6 dollars, we honestly should have known. I would not recommend Gyu Kaku to anybody unless you are just going to drink at Happy Hour. The cheap price is not worth the stomach pain. I will not be returning to Gyu Kaku and I am warning you now!
