More of a Benihana vibe than I was expecting for West Loop. Service was spotty and rushed. Food was okay, but for the price, we left disappointed.
I prefer this location to the downtown one. The place is comfy and waiters are attentive. Food is good as usual.
This was an excellent choice. The restaurant is such a cool concept! Food was great!
Excellent evening. So fun introducing new people to this concept. The grandsons take over the cooking and I love it!!!
They sat a table directly next to is while there were open seats everywhere. Everything has crumbs on it and looked like the dishes had been used. Our water looked like dish water. Server was cool
Food was delicious! Came with family and kids loved it.
Waited for long time even with reservation.
Been once before this time and really enjoyed ourselves. When after closing on a house and couldn’t think of anything particular. It was easy to reserve a table, and the varies for all taste! Love this place!
Great place to have a decent dinner. The food is good and the waiters are nice
Excellent dining experience!! Great Service!! Give it a try you will love it
My boyfriend’s first time, my second. We both were happily surprised by how well-seasoned the food was that we forgot to use the sauces available at our table! Will gladly be returning, but with more friends and family
Our server was a rockstar and super knowledgeable! Had great recommendations! Highly recommend!
Belongs in a mall. Needs more service staff. They use way to much plastic disposables for what they charge.
We waited 15 minutes for our table because we arrived early the restaurant only had two tables sat at the time but we had to wait for them “to clean our table”… the table we got the grill didn’t get hot and the waiter apologized and said some are older and don’t get as hot but it’s on. It took an hour to cook our vegetables and melt the fondue… we ordered a lot of meat (would have ordered more but everything we asked for was “sold out”) it took 2/3 times longer to cook things than the instructions provided.. we spent more time waiting than eating. It was a date to celebrate a business win with my fiancé and it felt sad at best. The food was good despite the time and issues. It was my first time here and I won’t revisit this location. My fiancé claims that he usually goes to the one in streeterville. I might try that one in hopes of a better experience. We are huge foodies and on average spend 150-400 on dinner. This dish meet the hype.
Service was terrible and lack luster. Our reservation was not prepared and we waited 20 minutes. We were left outside in the interim, waiting for our hostesses to return, I had to go into the restaurant to find her after which she still did not return to clean our table. She proceeded to seat another party at the outdoor grill next to us. Our grill stopped working 3 times during dinner. The table was on wheels and on two occasions rolled into our guests. The outdoor grill was too small and it was deep in the table so we had to stand to cook our food. The waiter forgot our drinks. This was a special occasion and the evening went so poorly that the person we celebrated said he would never want to return, as this was no longer his favorite restaurant. He had previously been to multiple locations across the country and felt that this was his worst experience. We did not feel like the price was commensurate with the service. Absolute disappointment.
Good food and service
Was def a good place for a date. I different experience
Food was great and service was friendly, tables were spaced out
This is the first time me and my boyfriend went to this location. I was disappointed that they told me their draft beer was not working after I already ordered it. Since this location is smaller it is very hot so dress warm. They didn’t have one of the items on the dinner we ordered but we got something else. They forgot 2 of our dinner items and we didn’t receive them until we finished all out meat entrees. We were given some money off our bill, but it was not the best experience.
The food is not value , for two adults and two kids isn’t value because the food is not good as before. Specially the beef tongue not not good
We had a lovely Mother’s Day here and our server was so great!
Always a great experience and service is on point with everything.
Throughly enjoyed our ladies night! There was 6 of us and we were accommodated respectively although we had to change our table twice due to miscommunication with some people in our party. It was greatly appreciated the level of patience that was given.
The food was really good, our server, Dave, was quick and even offered good recommendations! I am excited to revisit with my boyfriend next time!
We had a little of everything:
Hammer steak? (I can’t remember the name but it’s one of there top meats)
Cream cheese wontons
Pina colada mojito
Tequila and lemonade with a shot of strawberry purée
White peach Cosmopolitan
Everything listed above is recommended, all delicious
Boring food. Little flavor. Some of the meat was just tiny little chunks mostly fat.
Food good as usual. Service not up to its usual standards. Serers forgot a few things until prompted.
Good food. Good service. Its our favorite go to restaurant for our family and friends
I brought my mom here for her bday and it was great!
Food was great! Our server, Daniel was amazing!!
Great experience! Nice service! I had all you can eat meal tonight and was very satisfied.
food was great it was a fun experience
Poor quality food and service. The waiter assisting us did nit have the most pleased attitude. He brought the wrong dish and was quite argumentative when I repeated my orders. As a frequent customer, the most enjoyable part of the restaurant experiences is the ambience and service, this time I was very disappointed.
This place is ok nothing special. I tried once I don’t have to try again. To my spoiled brat for eat dinner. It’s better then, them steakhouse.
Birthday celebration for my guy
Came here for our anniversary. First time either of us have ever tried it and it was DELICIOUS. Will definitely be going back and the waiter Daniel was very nice and checked in on us alot. We loved it.
I usually don’t write reviews but I was very disappointed with my dinning experience here. I will not go into detail since I work in the service industry, but for what it’s worth I probably wouldn’t come back here.
Daniel is the best server.
