Service started out slow, especially the bar orders, but once we ordered food it came out in a timely manner. It was a fun place! Our kids loved it! And the desserts were so fun! Will definitely go back!

Our grill was not hot for most of the meal. Our service was slow. The Men's restroom was not very clean. We have been to this restaurant many times before. This was the first disappointing experience.

We went here for a girls night, and had a great time. The service was extremely fast tonight, usually it can be a little slow. We had a great time.

Food was great, service lacked. Hope well enough I go back, that changes. Love the restaurant, the food, the atmosphere, I just wish that the service was better. They really lacked and getting any type of alcoholic beverage out, seemed like they were short-staffed, but it wasn't very busy.

The Inter-active dining experience by cooking your own meat was so much fun. Great to have a leisurely dinner and talk with people. Drinks were also delicious.

The menu has nice variety of food to choose from. The food was excellent. Each meat that we ordered has its own distinct flavor. Has a nice selection of desserts. The service was quick and professional. It was a very nice first dining experience at Gyu Kanu.

We made reservation and arrived on time. But still waited for 20 minutes. One group with same size that just walked in later than us but get their table earlier. What is the meaning for reservation?!

It really didn't help having reservations through open table because despite us being on time, we weren't seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time because "the table for us had people that were sitting there for 3 1/2 hours" according to them. I'm not sure why that's our problem? We were also repeatedly ignored by the hostess when we tried to ask when we'd be seated. When we were finally seated and had been there for about 45 minutes, we all started feeling the pressure from the staff that we should quickly pay and leave. They were trying to turn around the tables and we felt very rushed and not relaxed there. Will not be going back!

I went of OC restaurant week and boy was the service slow. I had to ask for my meat after waiting for 30 -40 mins to grill it...

For some reason this gyu kaku makes it mandatory to make a reservation beforehand or else you will wait forever. So the second time we made a reservation and arrived and the restaurant was not even half full and they told us we had to wait again for 15 minutes. Seems very disorganized and staff at the front is not very friendly. This is my least favorite location. Pasadena's is much nicer than here.

I was super disappointed with the service and how rude and quick they are to get you in and out. I felt rushed the whole time from the moment I walked in. We were still grilling our meat and the waiter came over asking if we wanted our dessert but we hadn't even finished our meal yet. Then the way the waiter removes things off the table is very rude he kept reaching in front of me as I'm trying to eat without saying "excuse me" or "are you done with that plate" he just assumed and snatched it away. My overall experience was not the best and I will not be returning.

Service was mediocre. Our grill was hearing in one area, the waitress replaced the coals with one falling in our food. So, we couldn't eat all of our food together resulting in loss of appetite. What we did eat was good.

Overall a great dining experience. Garlic fried chicken was a bit off, a tad under cooked. We missed the crunchiness. Our server was attentive but not very approachable.

Seemed like a very busy night. Got my table 20-30 minutes after my reservation time. Got appetizers before our Drinks. Bar must have been busy. Overall it was good. Service lacked more than the others locations.

Variety food choices, delicious BBQ food, and service! We were in a date night and it was a fun ambience. It was crowded too. Even though we had reservations, we still had to wait another half an hour after our reservation time to get our table since the restaurant was very busy. Overall, it was a good experience.
