- To comply with spatial distancing rules we have spaced our tables out and limited seating capacity.
- There may be limits on party sizes.
- We are serving a limited menu. Not all Grand Menu items will be available during our immediate reopening.

My server Saruul was okay (she didn't offer me any water) - but the individual assisting was great, super helpful and engaged thank you Xavier you're the BEST!
Fun for all
Our server was really on top of our table , every time we need something she was there and even tho I would ask for stuff she knew I already needed sometimes. She’s the best ! The worse thing is that I don’t remember her name she was an Asian skinny short nice young girl ! Love her
Went in for my dinner birthday, really great quality meat and food. Really love it! I came with my parents and they are really picky with food because they’re great cooks but they loved this place! Service was great! I had a group singing happy bday for me it was hella fun’ and the value of food we ordered is amazing! Def gonna come back! Tasty food 👍🏼👌🏼
Our server Sam was fantastic! Did a great job taking care of us and handling all our requests. He check in on us frequently and was very friendly.
Always have a great time when I come to Beverly. The service was good, our waitress Hi-Meah was very sweet and took care of us. We got the $55 happy hour menu and all dishes were satisfying. Great thing about this restaurant, it has rewards, and I used mine to get a vanilla ice cream.

It was my son’s birthday
Our waiter Josh was so disappointing, he forgot to place half our order! Then said the kitchen is slow! Our drinks took forever, when we ordered another drink he told us “They’re out of white Sangria!
Our waiter had more excuses for his lame service than I’ve ever heard!
We canceled our forgotten food orders, that he forgot place an hour earlier & left the restaurant.

All in all it was good. When we first arrived it took about 3 minutes before someone greeted us. This was around 4:45pm. When we were done with our main meal, it took a few minutes to flag someone down to order dessert. We were undercharged. They forgot to charge us for a plum wine and 36oz beer.

Almost always a great experience at this restaurant. The tables are a little tight if you’re tall but, the food, service, and ambiance is great. However, this past Valentines it was a nightmare trying to get our vehicle from Valet. We waited a whole hour!
Incredible food! Exactly like the chain in Japan!
Food was horrible. As a Japanese American, I was embarrassed this is considered Japanese. The marinade was WAY too sweet. Off my bucket list and will not be returning.
The food was amazing and the service given to us was really great!! The main manager though was so rude to her staff! No idea what was going on but she kept demeaning them loudly and just overall was treating everyone like they were waaaaay beneath her. Again, she was nice to us but would immediately turn around and had a totally different attitude with the staff, mainly the chefs. Made us feel awkward. Our server was great and everything else was wonderful. Just think a manager should treat their staff with respect no matter what, and if you need to have a tough conversation... you don’t do that in front of customers.
Calamari taste different from before, had to send them back
This is a great place and really good food. They get very busy so service can be slow. But worth the wait.
Five of us (three are over-sized) were squeezed into a booth for four slender people; the restaurant was lightly occupied (2:00 pm Saturday afternoon, Feb 1st). Our pleas to be moved to a more spacious table were considered and rejected. The restaurant was very noisy (excessively energetic). The server also rejected our service time limit (we saw 2 hours 15 minutes for parties 5+). Because the meal was a birthday celebration we ordered the Supreme AYCE dinner so our guests would not feel constrained to manage their meal to a price limit. The food was standard and the service was normal Gyu-Kaku, below par for Beverly Hills. Next time we will try another location closer to home in Chatsworth, CA.

The food was amazing. But the wait time was very long even with reservations. Our food did not arrive 45 minutes after we got these, which was very frustrating.
The new lighting and remodeling wasn’t thought through properly. Lighting extremely bright and uncomfortable. Seating, most people can’t fit in the new booths

I’ve been coming to Gyu Kaku since 2012 and mostly I go to Westwood location and almost never had a bad experience but every time I come to Beverly Hills location, somehow the service is always below expectations.
Even this time, I had to flag Jonathan the manager down few times just to get the basic stuff.
Our server kept forgetting to put in the order and it was just frustrating.
The food is fantastic but being in BH they have to step up the game. It’s just not pleasant to repeatedly say the same order.
Easily the best restaurant in Los Angeles. Seriously though, great place, atmosphere and food. A lot of fun especially with groups.

Horrid !! NEVER EVER RETURNING!!!! Been dining weekly here for years. Over past 12-18 months it’s gotten worse and worse. They’ve changed menu, taken off the great appetizers.replaced with foods that seem to have been picked up off the floor, they’re so awful. Service is a disaster. My son asked for a fork, they said they only have 3 in the entire restaurant!! But they could ask someone if they’re not using theirs. Seriously?? Food is now bland, very very poor quality. Not sure if they’re a chain, or owned independently. This place needs closing!!
