Always so good!
Visited this location for a birthday dinner. There was 4 of us so we decided to order the SaMurai since it feeds 4 some of the meat was delicious others ( Filet Mignon) was a little tough to chew and not as appealing. The service was good our server was prompt and attentive. The only issue I has was the way the brought out the meat. They were all brought out around the same time while they told us how long to leave each piece on the grill. With 6 different pieces of meat to cook it became a little overwhelming for the table and felt more like a chore.
Over all I would go back but not in a group
We came to Gyu-kaku many times but our order was always served either too late or missed. The server always had to ask us how many dishes were provided as they do not know what should they bring to us next. Last time, they bring the bill just after two dishes although we ordered a 4- people combination. The food/meat is really good, but I would not visit again.
Food and staff was great! Great date night spot. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
The service was great, the food was on top! Awesome.
Belated Valentine’s Day dinner... we love this place. Will continue to come back.
Food was good but some of the meat was kind of fatty (steaks) flavor was great though. You have 90 min to eat all you can eat which is not a bad value, but the veggies take a while to cook and are in large foil packets so it takes alot of space on the grill. This makes it difficult to cook quickly. The veggies should be parboiled to cook faster. Garlic noodles were amazing!
Everything overall was pretty nice. Cooking my own food was a new experience for me but I actually had fun. Would recommend to friends, would go back again to try other things on the menu.
We were celebrating my coworker and decided to come eat at Gyu-Kaku. The only issue we had was that our grill was not working properly. We were moved to a back table, where the grill was functioning much better. The staff understood the issue and was kind about helping us move. The only thing I would say is that once we moved we were sat at a back table, where I felt the service was a little slower. Overall, we had a good time and I would come back.
I'm so glad I found this restaurant and tried it out. It was mine and my boyfriend's first time trying Japanese BBQ and it was delicious. We went during brunch time on a Saturday where you can get 3 meats for $19 and that includes soup, salad, and rice. We also got a nice size of house sake for an extra $3!!! Totally worth it since the size allowed us to have 2 & 1/2 shots per person. I highly recommend this place on a Saturday during brunch hours since it's not crowded and it's peaceful.
Everything was delicious and I like the ambiance.
Only thing was that the service was a little slow. We had no food at the table at a point and wanted to Ofer more food . But the sever was not around and we had to wait for a long time.
Good food and service was excellent!!
I would like to go there again.
Awesome as always
Pretty good, could be better if the good is bit more less expensive.
Drinks take time, so would recommend to order 10 minutes ahead than what you expect.
Fun experience. There were 5 of us. We did the Shogun. I’d highly recommend it. Lots of food and oddly enough, the sirloin was everyone’s favorite.
I love this restaurant! It is so fun cooking with your friends...so much laughter! I would suggest the All You Can Eat sections!!! There are so many choices, and if you allow your waiter to choose...its just a fun surprise every time they come by!
I have enjoyed my experiences each and every time I have visited Gyu-Kaku. This is definitely in my top 5 places to eat.
Staff made us feel comfortable and explained the menu very clearly.
I’ve been to this restaurant well over 20 times since it first opened and this past visit was by far the worst service ever. Had to wait over 45 minutes for our salad. Was even told that our food was taken to another table and still did not escalate our order for the mistakes. The servers need more training and the kitchen staff need to prepare more than 1 item per table at a time.
Absolutely amazing! Great food, our server was super informative and assisted us with no issues. Excited about my next visit
We’ll be back! Totally enjoyed everything about it!
Interesting concept but not well executed. Our waiter was excellent but that couldn’t make up for the average food and ambience
Dined with 5 people on New Years Eve night. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was a bit slow but the servers were pleasant. I'd return again the food and fun time is priceless.
Great night bringing the family out for fun dining experience.
Good. Pricey, but we did get the holiday meal. Quite a bit of food too, so you got a fair bit for your money: just could be a bit cheaper.
Tried it once and will not be returning. The service was good, but the food was not. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, you will not find it here. Also, this restaurant is so tucked away that's it's a major challenge just finding it. No complimentary parking, either.
It was a great experience! Would recommend to everyone, especially the lunch specials.
Waiter Calvin/Glenn have the impression he didn’t want to be at work. No smile no Enthusiasm
The manager who came by our table to check in was amazing
It was amazing! Staff was very attentive and did well explaining the menu to us as first-timers. The food was very flavorful and came out swiftly. I will return again....thanks Hannah and Aiko!
This place is a lot of fun! The food is really good! We really liked the filet the first time but the skirt steak on our second visit was so good. The spicy slaw is really good. I want the recipe! It’s really easy to grill the food. A good way to spend time with 28 year olds.
We celebrated a Birthday and it was a fun night ! We brought along a cake and the staff came out with it and sang to the Birthday girl and made it a special night !! Everyone loved the food !
Wonderful service. Staff was all hustling since it was Thanksgiving and absolutely packed. Food was delicious and plentiful. Great experience.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Gyu-Kaku.
You'll have a good experience and excellent food selection here. Unfortunately we were expecting charcoal grills and they are only gas, but the food quality is still really good. You can also do ala carte so you don't have to do the all you can eat option. I recommend this place over a lot of the Korean BBQ places because of all the options.
Great Experience, I would definitely go back with my family.
It was our first time there.
Food and drinks were great.
Went on a Sunday around 5 pm. Food was FANTASTIC! Very flavorful. Service wasn’t terrible but could’ve been better. Definitely want to say it was not our waiters fault. Our waiter looked very overwhelmed and was running around the restaurant from table to table the entire night. Food came out really quickly, which was nice. But, I ordered my second drink from the bar and it never came. Kept asking my waiter to check on the drink I ordered, and we all eventually realized that the bartender had just disappeared. After waiting 20 minutes for my drink, I just canceled the order. Waiter was very apologetic though, gave us free ice cream for the inconvenience. Overall I had a great experience and will be back, but staffing is definitely an issue here.
