Awesome as always
Pretty good, could be better if the good is bit more less expensive.
Drinks take time, so would recommend to order 10 minutes ahead than what you expect.
Fun experience. There were 5 of us. We did the Shogun. I’d highly recommend it. Lots of food and oddly enough, the sirloin was everyone’s favorite.
I love this restaurant! It is so fun cooking with your friends...so much laughter! I would suggest the All You Can Eat sections!!! There are so many choices, and if you allow your waiter to choose...its just a fun surprise every time they come by!
I have enjoyed my experiences each and every time I have visited Gyu-Kaku. This is definitely in my top 5 places to eat.
Staff made us feel comfortable and explained the menu very clearly.
I’ve been to this restaurant well over 20 times since it first opened and this past visit was by far the worst service ever. Had to wait over 45 minutes for our salad. Was even told that our food was taken to another table and still did not escalate our order for the mistakes. The servers need more training and the kitchen staff need to prepare more than 1 item per table at a time.
We’ll be back! Totally enjoyed everything about it!
Interesting concept but not well executed. Our waiter was excellent but that couldn’t make up for the average food and ambience
Dined with 5 people on New Years Eve night. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was a bit slow but the servers were pleasant. I'd return again the food and fun time is priceless.
Great night bringing the family out for fun dining experience.
Good. Pricey, but we did get the holiday meal. Quite a bit of food too, so you got a fair bit for your money: just could be a bit cheaper.
Tried it once and will not be returning. The service was good, but the food was not. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, you will not find it here. Also, this restaurant is so tucked away that's it's a major challenge just finding it. No complimentary parking, either.
It was a great experience! Would recommend to everyone, especially the lunch specials.
Waiter Calvin/Glenn have the impression he didn’t want to be at work. No smile no Enthusiasm
The manager who came by our table to check in was amazing
It was amazing! Staff was very attentive and did well explaining the menu to us as first-timers. The food was very flavorful and came out swiftly. I will return again....thanks Hannah and Aiko!
This place is a lot of fun! The food is really good! We really liked the filet the first time but the skirt steak on our second visit was so good. The spicy slaw is really good. I want the recipe! It’s really easy to grill the food. A good way to spend time with 28 year olds.
We celebrated a Birthday and it was a fun night ! We brought along a cake and the staff came out with it and sang to the Birthday girl and made it a special night !! Everyone loved the food !
Wonderful service. Staff was all hustling since it was Thanksgiving and absolutely packed. Food was delicious and plentiful. Great experience.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Gyu-Kaku.
You'll have a good experience and excellent food selection here. Unfortunately we were expecting charcoal grills and they are only gas, but the food quality is still really good. You can also do ala carte so you don't have to do the all you can eat option. I recommend this place over a lot of the Korean BBQ places because of all the options.
Great Experience, I would definitely go back with my family.
It was our first time there.
Food and drinks were great.
Went on a Sunday around 5 pm. Food was FANTASTIC! Very flavorful. Service wasn’t terrible but could’ve been better. Definitely want to say it was not our waiters fault. Our waiter looked very overwhelmed and was running around the restaurant from table to table the entire night. Food came out really quickly, which was nice. But, I ordered my second drink from the bar and it never came. Kept asking my waiter to check on the drink I ordered, and we all eventually realized that the bartender had just disappeared. After waiting 20 minutes for my drink, I just canceled the order. Waiter was very apologetic though, gave us free ice cream for the inconvenience. Overall I had a great experience and will be back, but staffing is definitely an issue here.
Everything was great! Service, food, atmosphere was awesome! We will be back
I have been to this location many times, therefore I invited some friends because I was bragging about the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Well, our drinks came 30 min. later than told, people that had just sat down got there food before us; we had been there an hour with no food, and when our rice came out it was slightly cold. The bowl was not hot at all. Horrible horrible horrible.
This place was wonderful. It was our first time and we really enjoyed our visit. The food and the service were very good. We will go back and I would recommend you try it.
James was our server and he was fantastic! Very patient and informative as it was our first time! Great energy and food!!
I had great time good food and good service
Thank you for gyukaku
Good food. Good drink.
best in town. Not sure what happened other people.
The concept is interesting, but service is slow, the decor is underwhelming and the cleanliness of the place is questionable. Prices are reasonable, so 3 stars.
Wonderful experience. Have been 3 times time month.
I came here to celebrate my birthday early with my husband and son and everything was great! I made reservations and got a table right away. Our server was attentive and made sure we got everything we wanted to order. The food was delicious and we did AYCE so we were completely satisfied.
Food wasn’t as good as it was during the soft opening, which is quite disappointing
Our server wasn't very good. She didn't bring us our rice until we'd finished with the first course of meat on our "meat lovers" combo. And she went MIA towards the end of our meal and we had to track her down to get our bill. We did not have time for dessert because we had tickets to an event nearby. She did not offer to give us our dessert to go.
The food was really good and easy to cook. It was a fun lunch and our 28 year olds loved it.We will add it in our restaurant rotation and will be back soon.
I go to GyuKaku frequently. I like all kinds of meat there but it is very very loud.
