Just as good for lunch as dinner! When I get the meat craving, this is the place I go..

Yea it was a cool environment, barely ever saw our waiter, food was pretty good. We wanted some type of sauce or salt, was never able to ask. Was just brought food and staff would scurry away

Love this place so much!!! Went here for a bday date and it was my boyfriend’s first time trying Japanese bbq and he is now a huge fan!

We had a really good time socializing and enjoying our meal.

Menu changed just today.
Still a great deal for weekday lunch.
The lunch meat set now has beef rib, which was good except for the grizzle.
The hot tea machine hasn't worked at the Addison location since the spring.
The management really needs to correct that.

Meat was ok but the rice is very bad. They was busy, so we have to waited for the for come out

Love their supreme all you can eat items! Everything you possibly want is on there! The service is not as good as we expected, slow to pickup dirty plates and table often run out of space, from time to time it was hard to find out server etc.

The restaurant has changed in the last 2 years. Service is no longer very good. The prices have gone up, and the happy hour is reduced.

The food was great as always. We have 4 in our group and the server was awesome. It did seem like they were slowing us down. The food was coming out fast in the beginning but when we started re ordering meat it slowed down substantially. The restaurant was not crowded st this time. All In all it was great. We always enjoy coming here.

I was so excited to find a yaniniku place! We don’t have one in the central Arkansas area, so this was a real treat for us! Our server, An, was wonderful and helped us pick out things. The rest of the staff would also check in if we looked confused. Next time we come to Dallas we’ll be visiting again!!

Favorite spot for me and my sisters. Always have great service and great food and many items on the menu aren't as expensive as you'd expect them to be with how good they are!!

Higher quality and more option than Gen Korean BBQ. We ordered the meat lovers fixed dinner. It was nice to NOT have to choose the meats.
Only one of the meats was substandard. I believe it was a skirt steak which if not cut properly can be very chewy. Several of the meats were crave-able.
I like that it wasn’t a giant restaurant. My server never got lost. Beer by the pitcher is a nice option. I really enjoyed the three sauces to dip my meat into; I am not sure which one was my favorite.

Eating at Gyu-Kaku was so much fun. We had a table of four which was perfect for all of us being able to reach the grill in the middle of the table. We shared the Samurai and it was PLENTY of food for all of us. We enjoyed trying all the different BBQ options that came with this meal since it was our first time at a Japanese BBQ restaurant. Our server was Michael and he was very attentive and helpful with teaching us how to grill our food. We will be back!

It is always a great time dining at Gyu-Kaku. The staff is always super friendly, the service is great, and the food is impeccable. I mean we cook the food ourselves, but it's still great nonetheless. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

My husband and I were house sitting and wanted to try something we normally wouldn’t in our neck of the woods. Guy-Kaku was just what we were looking for!

Great place to have good conversation and good fun with friends. Delicious well proportioned food. No annoying Korean aunt's telling you how to cook your food or snatch tong from you, interrupt conversations or meddling with constant changing grills out.

We had good time there. It was the first time to have dinner there and you can tell that they were extremely busy, but our waitress, Jenny came with smile every time we called her, and she didn’t mind making changes about the orders. Noise level was loud from cooking at the table and it was good for us that we don’t need to mind about neighbors table. Our son enjoyed cooking marshmallow at the table. We downloaded the app and it gave us some extra points and discount too. I like their lunch menu though, I enjoyed having dinner too.

Our server was super sweet! Really great service and everything came out quick. A reservation is highly recommended for dinner times!

I loved my experience at GyuKaku. Good atmosphere, fantastic service, and a great place to go for date night! If you do decide to go, ask for Gabby to be your waitress! She was kind, helpful, and made my date even better! 10/10 would recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas and a hidden gem tucked away in a small strip of eateries in Addison. Always a great dinning experience..food and value. Would be great if they had a more dessert options.

The food was really good, but the service is really slow. You get 90 minutes to dine, which seems like a lot, but it flew by as the meat took a long time to come to the table and our server was nowhere to be found.

We had a great experience overall. Food was very good. The servers walked us through with recommendations of best sellers and also how much to buy if you do not want to go with the combo meal style approach. The only thing we did not like is the music. It is waaayy too loud. We don't mind energetic but it interfered with the dinner. There was not a comfortable place with regard to the volume in any part of the restaurant other than the waiting area. Other than that, it is fantastic. Would go back for sure.

The spicy pork is always excellent. The premium sirloin and the teriyaki chicken breast were great as well. Our server left a bit to be desired but we are regulars and that was a first for us. Overall, always an enjoyable experience. One of our favorite places for lunch.

The selection and the quality of the food was great! Very much inline with the traditional Japanese "BBQ" houses! Will definitely make this a regular go-to place for my yakiniku fix! Glad we found you!
