I will get this place five stars. I came on a busy Friday night and even thought they were jammed back my waitress was attentive to my party. The food came in a fast, timely manner. I got a lemon drop martini and also the hummus with lamb. Will be returning soon.

Ya know.... EVERYTHING was great. The bartender was amazing (read: excellent drinks), the food was tasty and innovative, and the service was great. Highlights include the Last Word and NY Minute cocktails; lamb hummus; and the Spanish Benedict. Just when I thought the Mediterranean scene in DC had been overdone, I (finally!) what to Gypsy Kitchen. Will def go again.

The food was delicious and the drinks were unique. The pork belly was my favorite, so tender and well flavored. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their small plates!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and quality that truly stood out. The prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of the dishes. The service was fantastic—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. For such a neat-looking menu, and as expensive as everything was, I was very surprised by how under-seasoned most of the small plates were (croquettas, zeytoon, papatas bravas). The pork belly was okay, but the cuts were inconsistent (either fully fat, or super dry/lean), the mushrooms al ajillo were okay, but there was hardly any garlic. Kaftas were okay, but super charred (way more than necessary) and a bit under seasoned as well. Service was very good though.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience! We got five small plates for three of us to share and it was a perfect amount of food. Our waiter was excellent, and everything tasted amazing. We’ll be back!

We were warmly greeted and sat at our table right away. Then were presented with 2 glasses of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. Dillion was are server and was so helpful with the menu. We enjoyed a cheese plate, crispy cauliflower, hummus nil lahme and flan. Plenty of food for 2 to share. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent! Thank you and we will be back!
