Best katsu in town
My family of four booked for dinner here on New Year’s Eve. It was a fairly last minute booking and I crossed my fingers that it would be a nice place for a special dinner as we had never been before. It exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was casual and cozy, the staff was accommodating and so friendly. And best of all the food was delicious!!! My 8 year old and 13 year old each found a favourite dish. What a fantastic way to ring in the New Year!
Every time I go to this restaurant the food is good. Gyoza always great but don’t sleep on the ramen! Very underrated ramen

Thanks to COVID, the restaurant was quiet and service was fast (I was out of there in 30 minutes - perfect!).
The pork tonkatsu had a little tough gristle in it and batter at first bite seemed oversalty. But after mixing with the curry sauce, it was hunky dory. Not many places you get minced beef in your curry sauce. I was nostalgic for Japanese curry when I lived in Japan over 20 years ago. Not quite the same but it appeased my nostalgia. Thank you!

Lunch date with a girlfriend on a workday— quick and easy ordering, food arrived hot and fast and was in and out in 40 minutes! Very good food too and love the touchless check out using QR code!
Their menus have completely changed. It's hard to call the restaurant Gyoza bar now.

Impeccable service, delicious food and cocktails. Obviously, one has to try their Gyoza, it's the best I've ever had. I can say the same for their Katsu, I had the chicken Katsu, and it was so crunchy on the outside and moist inside, every bite was begging for another!
Great service, ramen was delicious, food was served quickly and HOT & fresh. Tempura green beans were very lightly battered & tasty.
Never disappoints, the ramen, gyoza, and donburi are outstanding.
The pork gyozas are outstanding. We have eaten gyozas all over, incl Tokyo. These are very good. Also tried the new Katsu dishes and they were very good too. Although, I would of preferred dark meat over white breast meat for the chicken katsu but it was still very tender and moist. Will definately be back for the gyozas!

We visited Gyoza Bar for Vancouver Dine out and it was fantastic! Great food and service and great prices too! We will be back!
The server gave us the wrong drinks and when I was ordering she did not seem like she knew the menu too much. I have a fish allergy and apparently all the soup bases have fish in them so I could only have the vegetarian mazesoba. A disappointment to say the least. However, the server did check with the chef regarding the fish.
Excelente comida y buena atención
Went here for a dinner with a close friend! She got the mazeman and I got the spicy chicken miso ramen. We shared the taco Gyoza and the pork teppan Gyoza! Everything tasted delicious. The service was great, food came out very fast, and we loved the space. Will definitely be back in the future.
