We celebrated our anniversary at Gwen. Our server treated us to a glass of champagne. The food was outstanding and the service was very good. Only downside COVID-19 made the atmosphere less celebratory.

Its nice to eat there. They don't really allow one person to eat. One person has to eat at the bar or eat at 8:30 or 9:00. He does do "we can refuse service." The food arrived very slowly. I only tried the chicken and duck potatoes. It looks kind of ordinary food. The price is good.

We enjoyed our first date night post-covid-19. The restaurant did a superb job with all the safety requirements. The food was outstanding.

It was the perfect evening. You can tell that the chef cares for each plate. Order anything on the menu and you'll be very pleased. Service was outstanding. Recommendations for dinner and wine were perfectly paired and well thought out.

Tip: Go early and pick out some meat from the butcher shop to take home for an amazing home cooked meal

Tasty, but not mind-blowing. A little on the pricey side. Wine list is 1-inch think... somewhat unapproachable. However... Service was FANTASTIC! Very cool tradition with the steak knives. (Don’t want to spoil it.) Curtis (owner) was there that night which was kinda cool. Front patio looked really nice. Quiet night when we are there, so it was empty. DEFINITELY worth trying. Cool for date night.

The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It took 45min for drinks to arrive. The chicken was so dry we had to send it back. And then offered desserts and asked them to go and the host thought I wanted them cancelled. All I had was a couple pieces of bread.

My guests and I had a great experience. The food was fantastic and it was an added surprise to be able to sit at the counter. The service (from the bartender, the waiters, etc) was exceptional.

Once again Gwen goes above and beyond With superb food and excellent service.

A fine dining experience in the heart of Hollywood. The smell as you walk in to the restaurant is divine. The food is incredible quality and delicious.

We loved our lunch at Gwen and the service was terrific.

Amazing food. The steak was perfect and every bite was an experience. The salad tasted like it was straight out of the garden. The gnocchi was the perfect serving and delectable. The lamb ribs and yoghurt????? Omg. The ambiance was okay - could have been nicer but we had table neighbors who were fairly annoying. Maybe a bit more room would have helped. Even with them, it’s my new favorite restaurant

Steaks were fabulous! We split two for a group of 5 and shared appetizers and sides. Served beautifully a cocktails on point!

Top-notch service and delicious food. This was a last-minute reservation, so we sat at the counter and could not have been more pleased with our seats from which we could watch the hustle and bustle of the kitchen.

This was a spectacular experience! The service was impeccable and intuitive but not intrusive. The ambience was lovely, but not pretentious or snobbish in any way. The food was beautifully prepared and presented.

Was expecting so much more for the hype and price. I’ve had better steaks and the rest of the meal was eh at best.

We sat at the chef’s counter and had a great experience. Food was amazing, watching the chefs prepare the food was great, and every thing we ate was spectacular.

I had a great meal at Gwen once before, and decided to host my birthday dinner thereafter. What a mistake!

Despite the fact that we were the largest group at the restaurant, our waiter NEVER check-in on us throughout the meal.

He warned us that the steaks take about an hour to prepare. Nevertheless, the two steaks we ordered (Porterhouse and NY Strip) took 90+ minutes. After the serving staff delivered our knives, it took another 20 minutes for the steaks to come out.

The server simply didn't care about our experience and couldn't didn't deliver the birthday dessert until well after we had paid the bill.

After spending $800 and feeling lousy about my experience, I have no intention of going back.

The food was amazing. We did The Taste of Gwen with the Duck Fat Potatoes. So good! Great service. Valet in the back only takes cash. But you can pay card at the restaurant and take the receipt back.

Spent valentines dinner on the second floor of restaurant which is suitable for sloppy joe sandwiches.

We went to Gwen for the Valentines Day prix fixe meal. Everything was wonderful, down to the bread and butter. The first course, a market greens salad was enhanced with grapes, pomegranate seeds and watermelons radishes. The dressing was subtle but tasty. The main course, Tasmanian trout was perfectly cooked. The accompanying broccolini was a surprise; I usually find it bitter but this was nicely prepared and with a subtle taste. The dessert was a revelation - woodsmoke infused chocolate cheesecake. What a stunning combo.

The service was immaculate, the restaurant is elegant. A spectacular way to celebrate VD with my wife

We made a reservation at Gwen for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. The thing that caught my eye when deciding to book at Gwen was the aesthetics and the decently priced menu. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! When we arrived the hostess asked if she could take my coat. I felt so special. Then we were able to relax in their lounge area before our reservation and enjoy an appetizer. We were checked on consistently by the bartenders wait staff. Our server was amazingly attentive and had great recommendations for each of our courses. The food was made to perfection and we ate every bite. Thank you for making our dinner amazing! We can’t wait to come back!

The five-course tasting menu was a winner. Each course highlighted a unique aspect of the menu beginning with the charcuterie board. The duck fat potatoes and beets were perfect sides for our perfectly done NY Steak.
