Gwen has always been my favorite Steakhouse. The quality of meat is supreme and it shows in it's taste and texture. The grill master is at the top of his game. He executed my order for rare steak perfectly and it is not easy. Hats off to DJ, our server for the night; he has been attentive to the Nth degree. I thank all of the staff at Gwen for making a night to remember. Also thanks to James, the General Manager for running a smooth operation.

An absolutely amazing dining experience! I had the best grilled octopus at Gwen's that I have ever had in my life. And I have had octopus in Spain and Greece. The steaks were beyond fantastic! Had the Wagyu NY Strip and the 30-day dry aged Ribeye! We sliced these up for the whole table. The service and ambiance were spectacular as well. Just a fantastic dining experience. Thank you Gwen and staff for a wonderful evening!

This is a great place for the highest quality meat products. From Bone Marrow to Bavette. But thats not all.We had briny yummy oysters delicious kampachi. A stellar green salad. and three top notch desserts. On the way out take advantage of the butcher shop for all your home cooking needs. Yes, We'll be back.

The rib eye steak was the worst, poorly cooked, not at all seasoned, bland steak I’ve ever eaten in my life; being their “best selling item on the menu”, and priced at $135 per steak makes this entire restaurant an embarrassment. The ambience is nice but if you are going to charge over the top prices and deliver something that poor, you should be really embarrassed. The starters were just ok. Save yourself the money and don’t bother going here. Also had to wait 20 mins to get my table.

Excellent service and the best steaks we've ever had. While we did not like two of the three sides we ordered, we would come again because the meat, bread, and cocktails were that delicious. If available, ask to sit at the chef's counter. We got a great view into the cooks doing their thing, giving a better appreciation for just how skilled the back of the restaurant staff are.

We have been to Gwen a few times, and it has been incosistent. On our last visit, service was very slow, one item never arrived although we asked for it and were billed for it, and food just wasn't that good. Potatoes came cold and bland, and the steak was tough.

We loved Gwen! The food was incredible and service was professional, pleasant, and fast. I’d love to style my home just like the sultry Art Deco style interior. We started with the charcuterie which was stellar. Followed by the 30 day dry aged rib eye and sunchokes as a side. The selection of steak knives was an extra special touch as they were all different and had a story that accompanied them. The butcher shop and market selection was beautiful too. We will be back, hopefully soon.

I loved everything about this dining experience. Everything. The servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and warm. The food was out of control- delicious and expertly prepared. The Wagyu Ribeye was phenomenal, and is an entire reason itself to make a visit to this fantastic restaurant. I’ll be back for dinner AND to check out the butcher shop.❤️

The service was wonderful, the food was really good, the only thing that was disappointing that some of the dishes in the menu were sold out... our reservation was for 8:30, on Saterday.. But they did everything they could to make us happy, so we will definatlly go back!

The service was terrible. So many of the workers had a horrible attitude. One example is my husband had asked for a new water because there was something in it. When the waiter came around he physically rolled his eyes and seemed very annoyed. The wine Specialist kept coming over every minute to see what we wanted and seemed annoyed when we hadn’t yet chosen something. My husband was in the middle of saying we will just need another minute please and he started walking away in the middle of his sentence. Just rude. It’s not like we had been sitting there forever without ordering. We had only been there less than 10 mins. The food was good, but not worth the price. The decor was nice. Overall the service made the whole experience bad. We won’t be back. Not worth it at all.

Not your average steakhouse so expect to pay more for your steak. The payoff of course is the flavor and tenderness of the meat. Simply grilled over wood, seasoned with salt and pepper…perfect! The bread served is addicting you will order more for sure. I wish there were more seafood choices but the item’s are very good and well prepared. Same goes with the salad but also fresh and enjoyable. Been here twice not and would highly recommend this establishment. Wine and cocktails menu good choices, corkage fee is $50.00 per bottle with a two bottle max. The butcher shop is a plus and you should get something for take home to grill later. My only wish now is to one day meet Chef Curtis Stone in person to thank him.

this place is all about the meats. they cure/dry/age all their own sausages, stakes, chorizos... and whatever else you'd find on a charcuterie plate. everything we had was delicious: octupus, hangar steak ("medium rare" was more on the rare side just fyi), bone marrow w/ housemade chorizo (so good!) spaghetti with pancetta (amazing!), brussel's sprouts, cheesecake... all really, really great. wait staff was courteous and informative. not a huge steak eater so it was helpful to have a knowledgeable server walk us through the menu. they have a waygu beef menu that is exclusive to Curtis Stone restaurants. we dnd't end up getting any but will definitely be back on a special occasion to try it. Ambience is very 1930s art deco hollywood - archways, exposed brick, industrial style dim lighting. The kitchen and firepit are visible behind a glass wall so you can see all the happenings. A butcher counter at the front of house sells cured meats and cuts for take-away. really enjoyed this place. been meaning to go for years and it didn't disappoint! bill was $240 w/ tip for a dinner for 2: 2 drinks each, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 vegetable side, and 1 dessert. not unreasonable considering location, quality, and award-winning chef!

Great restaurant and fantastic food. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and picked out a really good wine for us (Ex Post Facto). And the server was very nice and attentive. Highly recommend Gwen!

We always enjoy Gwen and decided to treat ourselves for Valentine's Day. The menu was terrific, service awesome and of course it's a beautiful place. It's not cheap, but it is exquisite in so many ways. I recommend it to carnivorous friends all the time.

Flawless , seamless unbelievable service from start to finish. Firstly we were given 3 options to choose for our table. We opted for the chefs table with a view of the kitchen shenanigans. Next up was a surprise glass of bubbles for our anniversary date !! We had a very informative waiter had 4 more delicious wines. The market salad is outstanding fantastic dressing and gorgeous greens . The oysters and the duck potatoes were sooooo good! The staff are impeccable. This place runs like a well oiled machine in every area. The only let down ( No sign of hunky Curtis ) Love this place wished I lived here !! Open one in Miami !!

I must say this was a complete disappointment. We went for a birthday celebration and it was simply lack luster. The best things we ate all night were the hamachi crudo, beets with ricotta, and sun chokes. The steak selection was disappointing considering its a butchery.

Waited over an hour to be seated for an 8:30 reservation. Overall bad experience from the bar to the hostess. For a place where your average steak is over a $100 you'd expect a certain level of service. If you want to spend the money and be treated correctly this is not the place.
