Guu Kobachi, as the name suggests, offers tapas style “small portion dishes”.
“Kobachi” means small dishes or appetizers, making it perfect for small groups of 2 to 4, where you can chat, drink & snack.

If you sit at the counter, why not chat with the chef? If you feel like eating something not on the menu, try asking for it & see what happens.

We keep seats for walk-in customers as well. No available seats on opentable does not mean we are fully booked. Please be aware that the time limited per table is two hours during peak hours.

We go to this Guu location regularly and LOVE it. The ambiance is great, and the staff is lovely. Food is always stellar. We highly recommend! (Favorites include taco bowl with cheese, tofu nuggets, tuna tataki, chicken karage).

They offer a large variety of small plates (4 for $17) that are a great value. It’s largely in the salty-savoury bar snacks category but quite tasty. The staff are SUPER friendly too.

Fun, vibrant, electric atmosphere. Excellent Japanese food with a twist. Enjoyed the seaweed salad with tofu. Catch of the day blowtorched sashimi was very good. Black sesame ice cream topped off the meal. Not your typical Japanese restaurant, much more fun!

We love Guu! We visit every two weeks or so. Food is delicious, and the staff is lovely. Always enjoy our experience.
