   The food was OK although my risotto was very runny. Both the service and kitchen speeds were slow. There was only one waitress covering the entire first floor. Restaurant would have sold more drinks and food if service/kitchen had been quicker as most patrons were dining pre theatre hence the time taken for meals and drinks to arrive was a real issue. We had to leave before finishing all our meal. We have been to the Gusto lounge for a pre theatre meal on a few occasions previously and by comparison both the quality of food and speed of service had deteriorated.

   Warm welcome, friendly and attentive service, splendid food, just a shame it was so quiet, they should have been much busier, perhaps that was because the theatre was massively under-subscribed and no call for early evening dining at this venue unless pre-theatre.

   When we went they were short staffed but you known it. They were came out fast and tasted amazing. I will be making this my go to anytime in the area it to everyone. Staff amazing and food was even better

   Lovely menu choices, especially for vegetarians. Unfortunately the main dining area wasn't open the night we dined due to staff sickness but the manager explained this to us upon arrival. We ate in a sectioned off part of the bar area which wasn't a problem on a Wednesday evening. We had a starter, main, dessert and coffee for £35 each, which included a tip. Really great value and attentive service from all staff. Great place to eat before going to a show at The Mayflower.

   Food was really good, and staff were very friendly and helpful dealing with my daughters allergy requirements. For me the decor was disappointing, we did go during the daytime, I think perhaps the restaurant has a different vibe in the evening. That said the food was delicious.

   As I need good lighting to see properly, the dark purple walls were not good for me; it was also very noisy. As a pre-theatre restaurant, Buon Gusto has been great, but I don't like the refurbishment and will go elsewhere in future. Sorry.

   Firstly we were kept waiting at least 5 minutes before being shown to our table. The drinks came promptly but the food order was a long time coming so we had to rush our meal in order to be away for the theatre. No time for a dessert or coffee. It is some time since I have been to Buon Gusto, perhaps it has changed hands? The decor is now dark and depressing, it is unlikely that I shall go there again.

    Booked a table so didn't expect to wait 5 minutes till someone came over then we had to find our own table upstairs. Very short staffed for a matinee performance in half term. Very slow at getting menu had to ask for special one. Finally got it ordered straight away. Drinks took forever to come but food arrived quite quickly. Luke warm. Good value menu though just the service totally let down this restaurant.
