Great food and drinks! In particular, love the small plates.
I was a fan of Gustavo's when they were in Belmont and missed them while the transitioned to Waltham - then waited for a liquor license. I took a friend who had never had Cuban food - he loved it. The food and atmosphere is as great as they were in Belmont. The ropa viejo is great and the cauliflower appetizer and guacamole were excellent. I have been to Cuba twice and this food is the real deal. Don't miss it.
A lovely, low-key restaurant with great food and gracious staff members. Try the empanadas.
Most everything was fabulous! But The noise level was too high…
This place is a real gem. Very interesting food at reasonable prices. Nice limited but excellent wine selection. Take this place in.
So much love in this food! Cubano y lechón are just outstanding 😋
So much yum!
Great Tapas. Jazzy menu. Big Wine list. Tasty menu. Good service.
This food is phenomenal! Friends invited us to dinner, and I just went back for lunch, even though it's a 25 minute drive. Authentic cuisine with outstanding fresh ingredients and flavors. Nothing disappointed! Gustazo is worth a special trip.
It was our first time dining at Gustazo. The food was all excellent. We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. We had shared several tapas for appetizers and then had the main meals. A few people in our group wished the portion sizes were larger. The waiter was very attentive and helpful to pick menu items. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for great Cuban food that was as good as anything we’ve had In Miami.
Lots of great small plates.
We have been to Gustazo's 3 times. Every time we leave raving about the wonderful food and the amazing flavors!
Reliable small plates, plus they accommodate #pieces to #diners!
Probably some of the most flavorful home made cooking I’ve EVER had. Every bite of every dish was just outstanding. The 4 of us just kept saying how good every bite was.
Delicious food ! Outstanding flavors! So very fresh !
Pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic. We made reservations well in advance and they sat us right in front of the door. It was a cold night and every time the door opened it was freezing. We asked to be moved and the waiter had no interest in accommodating us then we asked if the heat could be turned up he basically said it’s as high as it’s going to go. I would definitely dine here again but would ask NOT to be seated near the door.
The restaurant was excellent in every way. We did end up sitting by the window and that was fairly cold Nov 16.
We went there fo my wife’s birthday with another couple. It was our first time dining Gustazo. There was a great variety with an emphasis on tapas. Everything we tried was delicious. We ordered several tapas dishes. We also shared an order of paella which was a special that evening. They seemed to be a little short staffed but our waiter was still very helpful. We will definitely be back.
My favorite restaurant in the area. Delicious food in an eclectic and fun setting. Must get the squash fritters.
Unique and exceptional food. Not terribly expensive either.
The food at Gustazo was mind blowingly delicious. We tried the Mariscada (seafood stew), Puerco Asado and Ensalada de Frijoles. All three were incredibly tasty and well made and presented. The only down point was it took nearly an hour from ordering before we saw any food. It was revealed to us that the owner is a perfectionist in the kitchen... Worth the wait, but it may be nice to have something like bread to munch on while waiting. We'll be back!
Amazing food! Lots of great vegetarian options. So flavorful.
I went with a friend to introduce her to authentic Cuban cuisine. This is Cuban with a twist, a bit more sophisticated. We had 5 tapas (which is not how Cuban food is typically served) and a bottle of Tempranillo wine. Each small dish was more delicious than the next, and our waitress was excellent in helping us make discriminating choices. You can't go wrong there - everything is wonderful!
My husband and I have eaten here many times and we have always had an excellent experience. The food is fresh, deliciously seasoned and perfectly portioned to share. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The wait staff is professional and friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions. We just discovered that they offer brunch on weekend too. We went for the first time this past weekend and really enjoyed it. There were many items on the menu that looked good so we will be going back to try some of them. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I was hoping for a tapas menu rather then a brunch menu
Cute restaurant with Cuban flair and fare. Service not so great. The Tapas are great and served hot. Paella is a lot of food and I found ours was overcooked. The Sangria with all the ingredients could be larger. We'll go back!!!
Good vibes. Great evening with friends. We had been to Cuba together. Food authentic
Everything was great, we were just surprised that they closed at 9 pm which cut our night short.
Wow! I have always been in love with Cuba, and this restaurant is another reason to love the people and culture. I am looking forward to returning to this restaurant multiple times in the future. I can't say anything bad about it and it has been on my mind since we left.
We loved the food! It was a little too loud.
Spectacular tapas style food with lots of fun and creative choices. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!!
We love the weekend brunch at Gustazo! The spinach and mushroom crepe is divine! I love adding the seed mix.
The food here was just terrific. Everyone dish was unique and beautifully prepared. While we were delighted to discover this restaurant, our poor server was pretty overwhelmed with the number of tables, and large groups, that she had to deal with. The noise level was a problem for us: very loud acoustics. When we go again, we will try for an "off-time" so that we can have a decent conversation.
A little noisy, not a place to go if you are in a rush. Take your time...
We ordered 6 small plates, one large plate (and 3 desserts) for 5 people. Every dish was excellent. Every dish was served as it was ready -- the food was hot, fresh and flavorful. Our server was very good at her job; good recommendations, attentive enough, friendly.
We plan on going back often.
Waiting to return with friends or family on specisl occasions.
Great evening with friends and tapas. I particularly recommend the mojitos, the roasted cauliflower and the empanadas!
We've been aware of Gustazo's growing reputation and finally had the opportunity enjoy this fine restaurant. The combination of traditional Spanish favorites with what I assume is the Cuban flavors and ingredients is amazing. Everything was fresh and prepared with care. What a treat and we will return!
