I love Gustavo! The tapas were outstanding. The lamb chops are always my favorites, but the beef empanadas were fabulous this evening. The cauliflower was excellent as well. Service was very good! Our waiter paid attention to our table without being everpresent.

Gustazo is very loud, and we know that. However, it took forever to get our food. The server blamed the kitchen, but i think they messed up our order. We had to ask for several missed items, including a side of rice, over the 90 minutes it took to eat a simple meal. Sitting at the table for 90 minutes with long periods of no food, in a noisy atmosphere, is not a recipe for an enjoyable experience.

We have been long time customers at Gustazo and greatly enjoy dining here. The food and drinks are always delicious. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the reservation system. We have now gone twice and reserved outdoor seating on our reservation. The first time we were told it is actually first come, first serve for the patio, but they could try to get us in, and were able. This time, they told us they did not have a table outside for us and needed to seat us inside, despite the reservation being for outside. We were not even given the option to wait at the bar until a table came available. It is quite disappointing, as we chose Gustazo to bring our inlaws to dinner because we were looking for outdoor dining to enjoy the beautiful weather. Instead we were forced to dine in the basement with the hostess seemingly acting as if we were acting a bother for requesting the outdoor seating that we had reserved. If the customer service continues as it has this time, we will no longer be dining at Gustazo.

This was our first time at Gustazo and it won't be our last. We loved the drink menu and every food item we ordered was delicious.

Gustazo's is such a winner when it comes to food, drinks and staff interactions. Cannot say enough good things about it. There's a lot of seating, but it can get really noisy. Still -- we all had a fantastic experience -- worth the trip.
