Happy you are open again for customers! Always enjoy the food and beer at Gustav's.

It was very well-laid out with generous social distancing parameters. Clean, staff wearing masks, disposable one-sheet menus. We were greeted and served promptly, with refills, etc. Disappointed in the truncated menu, but understand why during this pandemic time. Will definitely go again!

First date out. Nice place. Service a little slow however for not being that busy. Good food.

Everything was great-food, service, & friendliness of all staff members. Wonderful place to have our first family dinner out in months!

Music too loud. Chicken dish was cold. Bland, and too tough to eat. Slightly undercooked. Spaetzle bland, tasteless.

We love Gustav’s , the food is alway great, the German beer is just like I remember it and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

They changed their menu and raised their prices. The portions of the sides are very small. If you happen to have leftovers they charge for a bag to take the leftover containers home in. 25 cents for a bag after you pay 50 plus dollars for dinner for two...just wrong. Certainly not the same Gustav’s as it used to be... too Americanized for my taste.

The staff there are all more like friends to us than employees. The food never disappoints and the Breakside beer on tap is perfect. I love the happy German music in the background as well!

Deducted points from service as vodka.soda served instead of vodka/tonic. Otherwise wait person fine as usual. So glad to be back here!

This place is great! It takes me back to eating schnitzel in Germany. My son and I love this spot!

We love our server. We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and she always remembers our order even though we have been unable to come in for several mi the. She still remembers

Main course was great. We got 2 of the feast platters. The fondue was what it was, melted cheese and bread. Didn't feel like it was worth 12.00. However, the service, atmosphere, and overall quality was worth the trip

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday because of the great reviews on their fondue, and this place was amazing. We will for sure be going back and will be recommending to friends.

We all appreciated the reduced size of servings and cost on the new Lunch menu. Hopefully that will continue. The food was delicious - we all enjoyed our choices.For our group, all in mid-70's, we appreciate the quieter atmosphere of the back room without overhead music so we can hear each other. Our server was very friendly and helpful.

The chicken was rubbery and chewy. It was disgusting and I was really disappointed because it has not been that way in the past.

Good German food and beer selection. Cabbage rolls and Hungarian Jager Schnitzel tasted good and nice size portions. Apple Streudel was a good dessert, too. Service was efficient and the meal was served in a timely fashion. Would recommend and go back.

Felt very rushed, waiter was impatient. Food arrived within minutes of ordering and the check soon followed. It was not busy, there were plenty of open tables. They didn’t pay attention to the reservation notes, celebrating a 60th birthday. The ‘complimentary‘ apple strudel was very under baked and mushy. Wasn’t impressed with food or service.

We visit Gustavs almost every January to celebrate my husbands birthday. On the reservation request, I checked the box for Birthday. Unfortunately we were seated in the bar and the ambiance was not as special as the regular dining room. I was expecting some singing and the birthday Apple Strudel. We only got the dessert. Our waiter was fantastic and he delivered the beers and dinners perfectly.

Food as delicious as always! Request for quiet corner filled. Helped going before the dinner rush began.

Food was great. Service was good. I would have preferred a table vs a booth only because I tend to sink into those booths because I am so short. But overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Food was awesome. Service a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Noise not too bad. I could easily talk with anyone in my party of 6.

I really used to enjoy this restaurant but quality and service is lacking at this point.
Server was slow and not very attentive. Food was OK but packed some flavour.
We will be looking elsewhere for German food in the area.

I did not read close enough. My suggested tip was based on meal, plus gift certificates, and a drink I did not order. The tip I left was too high for what we got. Cannot go back on drink I did not order and the tip being calculated on full bill not just the meal, cause I did not figure it out till I got home. I have always liked them but this visit to this location has left a bad taste in my mouth.

The most outstanding part was our server. She was so personable and attentive. Food was good. Table and seating was spacious.

Granted, it was Thanksgiving, BUT disappointing. They ran out of prime rib hours before our reservation
so two of us ordered turkey breast dinner and one the fondue with bratwurst. All of it very bland (even
the cranberry sauce!), except for the brats. Caesar salad was good and fresh, alas no anchovies in house.
Considering the crush staff were all cheerful, competent, and speedy. Unfortunately despite having a nice corner booth in back. noise level atrocious... even for the deaf.

Prime rib great, we didn't get any bread/rolls, no salad. Had to ask for silverware and napkin . For the price... no
Oh and with reservations we had to wait an hour to be seated. No were to sit and not much room for standing, very poorly organized . Disappointed

We went on Thanksgiving so very busy yet service was good and the staff seemed to keep their wits about them despite super packed and some impatience customers. The food was very tasty.

OVERBOOKED for Thanksgiving!!! Just what you would expect when you don’t have enough tables, bartenders, and supplies in general due to poor planning by management.

Went here for Thanksgiving and what a great experience! Started off rough with a near 20 minute wait past our reserved time, but once we got to our table it was a holiday miracle! Our server Mariana was a holiday gift! Friendly, professional, prompt and attentive! She made us feel welcome, apologized for the initial wait and touched base with us frequently never alluding to the fact that they were so busy. Then our meal was what turns out is a Thanksgiving tradition of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry dressing and gravy with pork roast and roasted brussel sprouts and chutney and sausage and sauerkraut AND pumpkin pie and whipped cream for under $26.!!! My friend and I have been out to a LOT of restaurants over the years on this day, and I have never had the amount of food at this incredible price and prepared and plated so well and TASTE GREAT! I warned him that we may very well be back next year!
