It was great! Our servers were attentive and welcoming! The food did not disappoint, so full of flavor and fresh! Definitely coming back! What we ordered: Cornbread skillet : that pepper jelly 🤤 Chicken and Rib combo with a side of grits & greens 3 meat combo: short ribs,brisket, and pulled pork; with a side of green beans and rice and beans. They even surprised us for our anniversary 🥰 the card and ice cream was really cute and VERY much appreciated <3

When we arrived we were seated within 5min. Our server Bryan was awesome and very attentive. Ben the manager was very nice and upbeat as well. Our food was flavorful and just a little to salty for us. Bryan was very nice to have given us a dessert and discount for our inconvenience. We had the brisket which was salty, greens were awesome, Mac n cheese a little to buttery, and the smoked beans were good. Overall we will return to Gus’s.

Food was just ok, ordered a three meat plate. Chicken was cold and it felt like it needed to be cooked a little longer.. pulled pork was ok, and brisket was dry.. sides felt small too. I feel like the mixed platter should offer a better variety.. overall it was an ok meal, but don’t think we’ll be returning for a while.

Once our food & drink orders stopped so did any type of service. If I wanted help I needed to flag a server down as mine was nowhere to be seen until I asked for the check from another server. Then she came to get paid. All our left over food we wanted to take home went to waste just sitting out while having conversation. We were never asked if we’d like to box up our food as our server never checked back on us after we didn’t order more drinks or food.

We sat inside for a 6pm dinner and it was too hot. If the windows/doors are going to remain open, fans are needed inside to help circulate air - it was far too stuffy and difficult to eat.

We enjoyed the peppercorn crusted tri-tip - very tender, no knife needed, with a nice rich smoky flavor. The baby back ribs were nearly falling off the bone, juicy, and succulent. All of our apps and sides were delicious.

The service was great, but it was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken and it was all burned breading. There was very little chicken. I left most of it on the plate. The grits were delicious though, good thing I had those or else would’ve had to order a whole different dish.

Enjoyed our meal as always. Best bbq around our area! We had the sliders and corn bread as starters. Chicken and two meat (brisket & beef smoked sausage) combo- very tender beef brisket & bbq brick chicken. Had mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese as my sides and added a side salad. Everything was delicious. We love coming here, great food, nice atmosphere and outdoor seating.

We meet with a group of college friends to celebrate birthdays every other month. We’ve been friends for 50+ years. This was our first time as a group at Gus’s, some first timers. Everyone loved the menu and especially your “sides” selections. Your cornbread was also a huge hit. That could be a meal in itself. The trains going through were fun. It was nice to sit outside but I forgot about how noisy it gets out there and 2 of our people don’t hear that we’ll anymore 🤣 Other than that it was a wonderful evening in at Gus’s. Darn! Forgot to take a picture.

Our server was never around, we had to ask other servers for refills for our drinks, our order was wrong and had to ask another server for help and the food tasted burnt. This was a waste of time and money!!! My family has been here before and this is the worst experience we have ever had here!!!

Went to Gus’ and had a great waiter (forgot his name but he was working inside at about 7 pm 5/30) he was attentive and made sure to check on us. Food was delicious! Had the deviled eggs (of course) the chicken & waffles were so good. I don’t know how it gets so crispy

Let us know a day and time you would like your items ready, and we will have your order packed to pick up from the restaurant, or we can deliver everything to you.
