Gurkha Dine from the name Gurkha originally referred to the brave soldiers from Gurkha village of Nepal fighting for the unification of Nepal,is now the hallmark of all soldiers of Nepal. They have been an integral part of the British Army for many years now and have proved their fighting ability and courage. Our aim is to bring the best in Nepalese and Indian Cuisine with a modern twist on the traditional method. Our dedicated Chefs` continuously refine and develop our recipes to the highest standards. Food was fine but the service poor. Waited over 45 minutes for starters to be served, despite telling staff on several occasions that the delay was unacceptable. Larger parties seemed to be taking priority.

I made a booking with open dine only to find that when I turned up at the restaurant it was closed for refurbishment! It was a birthday treat for my son who had come to visit

Food and wine was incredible. One of my best Nepalese / Indian dining experiences ever. Highly recommend. Went prior to a show at the Marlow Theatre.

I have used this restaurent for both eat in and takeaway food and found the quality of food on offer to be very good. This is a small restaurent but the noise levels are low and the service prompt, polite and efficient. I usually share a starter and have a main dish with shared rice and bread and this usually fills me up but that may well be a symptom of age! Some dishes require a wait as they are made to order but I have found that this is worth the wait.

After suffering a difficulty with our booking on a previous occasion, we were given the opportunity to return - which we did and found the staff and restaurant to be very enjoyable with very tasty food. Glad we gave them a second chance as we were not disappointed on this occasion and will return in the future - thanks to their sincere apologies for the previous booking issue last time. Thanks - good customer service.

As we notified you on the night. despite having a booking for 8 pm they had no table. Yet they continued to place a couple with an 8.30 appointment as they had booked 2 weeks ago! And we had only booked that day! Really! Ended up having to find somewhere else to eat at 9 pm.

Dear Corinne, Thank you for the time to review.The visit was part of technicality error but from us that we did not update OpenTable system when we were fully booked pretty quickly though.We did apologize that evening and offered best resolution but you could not wait. We were more than delighted to have you back last week ; we did make sure this visit be enjoyable.Thank you so much for trying us again and your feedback and support despite last experience.
