Didn't end up going. The place was closed for lunch hours today!
They were closed with no signs or notice. Had to go somewhere else.
This facility was not open
We booked and did not received any notice of such being closed
Need to update your site
The experience was terrible. The restaurant was closed and had been for over a month! Open Table needs to get their listings updated.
My husband and I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a few months now. For a date night, we decided to go there. We were allowed to make a reservation online, but when we got to the restaurant it was closed. No phone call, nothing. Just closed. No signs saying they were closed, just an empty parking lot and a dark restaurant.
We reserved a table online and they were not open when they showed to open also could not make another reservation bc had this placed booked Don't waist your time there another place right around the corner that is open
This location is closed. I wish they had notified all partner websites.
They were closed! No notice, no nothing! They suck as far as customer service! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
They were closed. I think they went out of business. I was sad because I'd planned a date and dressed up only to get there and find it empty.
I booked my reservation for Guri do Sul through OpenTable online about 3 days before my anniversary (4-6-16). My husband has always wanted to go there so I surprised him. We got all dressed up and drove there. It was closed. There was a sign in the window, 'Sorry for the inconvenience. Please call to make a reservation '. I was so upset. I DID have a reservation. I even received a reminder email from OpenTable. Guri do Sul could have sent an email to me to let me know the restaurant was going to be closed. I will not try again. That was such a disappointment. It's difficult to give a star rating when we never actually ate there, but this website requires a star rating.
I made a reservation on the internet, on your site.
When we got there, the restaurant was closed! There was a sign which said you were closed for renovations. I've been wanting to go to your restaurant since we moved to The Woodlands a little over a year ago. To say the least, we were disappointed.
Maybe we'll try again sometime.
Kitchen issues, restaurant closed the day I had reserved to go. Took the day off to celebrate 20TH wedding anniversary. Had to pick another restaurant.
We were there on 4/1,service was bad, most of the meat was raw or tough. Chicken was good and so was the bacon wrapped shrimp. The salad bar was lacking a good choice.
Service was bad waiter only came to the table twice. One gentleman came by not sure he may have been a manager. The restaurant was very nice but not worth the price.
We were very disappointed in the experience.
We will not return.

My boyfriend and I just had Sunday brunch and it was a wonderful experience! They had a crepe bar, omelet bar, salad bar and $1 mimosas!! We had several cuts of meat and they were quick with service and every waiter not only ours was very attentive making sure we were ok as they walked by. Our plates were always kept full. We were very skeptical due to the other reviews here but were pleasantly surprised, everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a great time. The bathrooms are kept very clean and have these great little plug in aromas and seating area for waiting. My boyfriend loved the food and says the service was great, we will definitely be going back!
Our 15th anniversary.
The food was okay. The salad bar was okay. I don't feel the food was worth the cost because some of the meat was overcooked and extreamly dry. I will not go to this restaurant again.
Most of the meat cuts were flavorless and not worth the time, money, or effort. Wait staff has to be coached nearly every step of the way and don't seem to be trained in customer service.
Service was great but bar couldn't make the cocktails I ordered and the meat was not great quality.
used to be great. changed owners and now was terrible. bad service, slow, reduced salad bar, etc
The meats took forever to get out and the waiter never kept our cups full. We had to hunt him down to get refills. They also had a very small meat selection.
this was my 3rd time coming in. I was sooooo disappointed and surprise how this place was coming down hill. first of all every one was quite looking at each other wondering where was the there food.. when we set down we waited 25 min not one person had walked up to us to offer us food.. the salad bar was almost empty. there was our Valentines double date down the drain. so we decided to get up and go to Fogo de chao!!
This was suppose to be a birthday celebration for my daughter & nephew & it was all bad. There was not enough staff to accommodate patrons & food was not replenished. It was like it was leftovers from lunch...mind we showed up at dinner time. For as much this restaurant charges you think you'd get your money's worth. My family and I will not be returning unless we drive the 3 1/2 hours to the Dallas location bc Houston/woodlands establishment is not worth the 15 minute drive...sad.
The food was absolutely horrible, salad bar very sub-par/generic/crusty, the meat rare and bloody, zero seasoning or flavor, no other option for the way the meat was prepared, i.e. medium well or well done. Dessert was also not good. Staff was wonderful and very nice. Not worth the price or time spent there. Go to Fogo instead!! Would not recommend or go back.
Wasn't worth the 300 we spent, service was horrible, food was cold, and we sat for about 30 min in between meats , will never go to this place again
Got there early and waited 40 minutes before the meat started coming out. The salad bar was pretty bare and not much quality items to choose form for the price. The meat was super dry and chewy and lot less quality then you would get form a comparable place but the price was still high. We should have gone to Outback or Saltgrass and would have received better quality meat for a lesser price. The dining area was sub par as well. As soon as we walked in it smelled musty and looked low class compared to other restaurants that serve the same. Meat service was super slow to come around too and had very low quality meats and not much variety was offered. Super disappointed and will never waste my money there again.
Very disappointing, service was poor, food was just ok, I would not recommend it and We will not I go back.
Restaurant is closed .. Not longer open
Went out of business
We arrived for our 11AM reservation and when we tried to open the doors to enter, they were still locked shut. We though we went to the wrong side but all doors were shut. We waited until 11:30 and finally someone who didn't speak very good english asked us if we had a reservation, we told him we had a reservation for 11 AM and he let us sit down. Our server then proceeded to tell us that they don't have any items on the grill and that it would be another hour to two hours before we have any kind of service and as we saw, they were still setting up the entire restaurant when they should have been open and ready since 11. I'm willing to give the restaurant another try on the count that I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, but if that's the service I should expect when I go to one, then I'll just take my business elsewhere.
They put the gratuity right into the bill for a two person meal. I would have tipped more than the added amount if I didn't feel so offended by this action .
Great casual restaurant for the whole family. We went here in spite of some other reviews and were quite happy with our experience. Great salad offerings and Sunday brunch is a must do. Our waiter was attentive, prompt and personal. All together a better experience than Fogo or other chains.
Meat was very well prepared and nicely seasoned with an eye to local flavors. Fried bananas and cinnamon pineapple are amazing.
Good experience. The guy that waited on us, Adrian, was an awesome waiter and I appreciated his hospitality. I will definitely come back here.
We had a great waiter, who also doubled as the bartender. He was outstanding. He went out of his way to make several specialty drinks, and was extremely friendly and professional. The food however, took a very long time to come out, and when it did it was quite a bit of a let down. The salad bar was rather pathetic in terms of selection and presentation, what was there was pretty darn good. Overall, I would not return just because of the price and the quality of the food.
My husband and I came here for our first date night out in a few months. While the place and food were nice, the service we recieved was horrible, especially for the price. When we arrived we were seated right away and a waiter took our drink orders. From there everything went down hill. Our drinks took a good 30 minutes to come out and we had to actually ask one of the meat servers to get our drinks. We also did not receive any meat cards until we again asked one of the meat servers. For most of the night our waiter was no where to be found, and we placed our remaining drink orders with one of the meat servers that asked us how we were more often then our waiter. The food was good, but for the price and service we will not be back. We will definitely stick with chama gucha.
Our Open Table reservation was for 7PM. We arrived at 7:05 and the hostess said the she had given our two person table away to a walk in because we were 5 minutes late. She told us we would have to wait 20 minutes. When we objected she tried to sit us a table for 6 people, again we objected. Then she sat us a the bar and the evening improved from a service perspective as our waitress was pretty good and the manager checked on us twice. I noted that there was another couple waiting at the bar for a table when we arrived and they finally got seated after 20 minutes, so they were clearly ahead of us and our wait if we had not taken a table in the bar would have been even longer. The Brazilian meat was slow to arrive and staggered out over an hour and they kept bringing the cheaper cuts of meat, like fajita meat and chicken and kept providing us with bread, mash potatoes, pasta and bananas to fill us up. Our bill with gratuity was $164. Not a good use of our money.
Fun dining experience - the pineapple is simply amazing!
I was quite nervous about coming here due to the reviews on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was great. The meat servers came out on a regular basis to the point that we almost wanted to turn our card over for a break! From what I was told, there are new owners. They are also redoing their wine cellar. I am hoping the new management can spark this Brazilian restaurant back to life and get some better business and reviews.
It's very good food. It's pricey though, so it's not for everyday dining. If you have a tiny appetite or eat very little, this is not the place to go.
The food was cold, and the service was slow and bad. They only wanted to serve us meat once. The servers had attitudes as well.
The check was 600 USD for a party of 8, three of them where children....
So EXTREMELY expensive which we don't mind if the food is good BUT, the food was not at all good. The waiters have no idea how to serve Churrasco, the meat was of the poorest quality, they took forever to come out but promoted us to eat more and more salad and bread.
We have gone to this place many times, this was our very last.
There are other local options, equally priced with a superb quality, not this one, not any more.
Sat in the back room and it looked like a cheap dining hall. Service was above average until it came time to pay. We had a Groupon and it took them 45 MIN to figure out how to apply it and split the check (we had 10 ppl). This place used to be fantastic and now we won't go back.
