Gum Bistro is a casual, fun and approachable restaurant located in West End. Serving simple, honest dishes cooked to showcase the fantastic produce available to us in Queensland.

Gum Bistro is located on land of the Jagera and Turrbal people. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, and Elders past, present and future, of the lands on which we work and live, and further acknowledge, thank and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the land in the multitude of Aboriginal countries across Australia from which so many of our products come from.

    From booking to waiting service, Gum Bistro staff were always attentive, friendly and accomodating. Meals were delicious, and exceptional quality. I would definitely go back.

    Great food as always. Loved the warm sourdough to start with tempura veges. The quail is always a stand out and the gold band snapper was moist with a crunchy skin . The potato side was crispy with a dressed salad to compliment the richness of the fish and quail. Great friendly service.

    Great environment, great service, great food. Such a friendly and welcoming group at Gum Bistro. The flavours are wonderful, and the vibe is really special
