Celebrate the start of PRIDE 2025 at Guinness OGB Chicago. We’ll be releasing our newest PRIDE-inspired beer, Lovely Day for Love, a Fonio Lager infused with sweet cherry purée. Grab a pint at the brewery or take a four-pack home! Our regular brunch menu will feature a special dish, with music provided by DJ Katie B, and our friends from Lighthouse Foundation will be on site to chat about the work they do to support Chicago's LGBTQIA+ community. As part of our commitment to PRIDE, Guinness Open Gate Brewery will be donating $10,000 to Lighthouse Foundation.

Beautiful building and bar area. Excellent service. The food was a complete disappointment! Fish and chips didn’t taste anything like fish and chips in Ireland! Chicken sandwich was bland. Chocolate cake was too sweet and not chocolatey. But the BEER…definitely the star of the show at Guinness! The selection of on tap beer was excellent! If you like traditional Guinness it’s delicious and creamy. If you like microbrew varieties - you’re in luck because they have a long list and they are all good! Go for the beer! Skip the mediocre food! Thanks for the great service!

Went there for Mother's Day. First visit. Greeted with a flower, which was nice! Purchased a couple items in the gift shop and service was good. Dined inside and enjoyed the music. However, our server was extremely slow and inattentive to our family. Didn't refill our very small water glasses. Ordered an appetizer but he forgot to bring out plates and place settings, so waited for that. Actual lunch took a while even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Waited forever for our check. Then he told us he added a gratuity due to our party size, which was 5 (menu says gratuity added to parties of 6 or more). I think he realized his tip would be affected by the poor service, so he added the gratuity. Since it was Mother's Day, I didn't make a big deal out of it, but thought that was pretty lousy. At least he pointed out that he added the gratuity, as others may not have done so.

Great space and ambiance. I was thrown off from the jump by the attitude of the host but once seated (finally) the experience got better. Waitstaff not super attentive and food was OK. It was a fine experience but I’m not clamoring to come back.

Had a lovely Mother’s Day brunch here! Moms got a Guinness glass and a flower to accompany their breakfast. Food was pretty good, my only critique is that the chicken and waffles were a bit dry. The drink menu is unique and exclusively beer, but they do have some interesting breakfast beer cocktails. Service was great and so is the atmosphere!

We had the worst experience ever! We arrived early to see if we can get seated and with open tables available they made us wait until our exact reservation time. Which was fine because we had some drinks at the bar but I just thought that was weird because they had lots of open tables. Then we get seated we order our appetizers and salad and the blond waitress never returns to our table. We sat there thirsty and with no drinks. I saw the food runner more than our crappy waitress. Hopefully this was an off day because the food and beer was good. Service was a -5 stars
