Gucci Osteria, an intimate restaurant by world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura, opened in January 2018 and after just two years has received its first Michelin Star for the 2020 Italian Michelin Guide. Part of eclectic exhibit and boutique space Gucci Garden, Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura is created with the same creative collaboration spirit. Founder of the three Michelin starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, Massimo Bottura has created Gucci Osteria’s menu together with chef de cuisine Karime Lòpez—the only woman chef among the new Italian entries to the 2020 Michelin Guide. The seasonally-changing menu is inspired by the team’s culinary travels, global origins and experience, and a passion for art and music, applied to Italian cuisine. The restaurant is also a reflection of Florence’s historical significance as a cultural confluence and creative melting pot during the Renaissance. The restaurant also offers Foliage, an ornate private dining room, and events rooms.
