   We always love going here and even though yesterday (Cinco de Mayo) was probably their busiest day of year, we had great service and food!

   This is a really great, upbeat neighborhood restaurant We went there on Cinco de Mayo so it was a little noisier than usual, but fun and the service was good.

   I’ve been to the Arlington and Fair Lakes locations, but the service was amazing at this one. Food is always great, but I was happy to try a new menu item that I hadn’t seen on the other menus at the locations I mentioned previously. Branzino fajitas! Amazing!

   This is an authentic Mexican restaurant, and food solidly represents traditional US Mexican food at a couple of orders of magnitude better than any fast-food Mexican restaurant. The decor feels right, and they attract a lot of customers. Maybe too many. On a Saturday night at 730 pm, the place was practically overwhelmed by the number of people it was trying to take care of at once. Our hostess wasn't aware that two members of our group of six had already been seated - we waited for about ten minutes and finally saw them in a corner, and sat down at that point. Our drinks were not served on time, one was forgotten. We were there about 45 minutes, maybe longer, before we were able to order our main course. (The main courses then came promptly and were well prepared.) On the other hand, staff paid careful attention to whether we needed more water, sauces or chips. Main lesson: probably best to go there sometime other than at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Just too much going on. One last thought: shortly after we arrived, someone at the restaurant increased the volume of the music. One result was that the noise level throughout the restaurant increased as people needed to talk louder. This reduced our ability to enjoy our time there. Other restaurants in the area can be worse, but we would have been happier with less total sound at lower volume.
